OK....very long story made short as possible....I have reason to believe from the holy spirit that I need to be making preparations not only for myself but for many others. I'm using my savings to do so. I don't need or want your opinions regarding my sanity. I fight myself enough with it on my own.

So...my question is this. I've taken care of essentials from a wide variety dumping around 16 thousand so far. There are a couple areas in which I haven't made preparations yet, and one of them is regarding the female hygienic perspective. Idk anything about womens menstral cycle except it is supposed to happen once a month right? What items do I NEED to get for women? Is there like a one product solution? Or do I need to buy a variety of different things? And if I do need to buy different things can you please tell me what they are and list them....starting with absolute necessity and then others in terms of convenience. I'm honestly 100 percent serious in this question. Please help. Oh...and are the items you listed available at walk mart BC that is where I'm doing one half of my shopping...the other half through amazon. Thankyou

Since you say this is a serious question, I'll just take it at face value.
It depends on the woman, as far as menstruation products go. There are a lot of products on the market, there's no consensus on which item is preferable, because everyone's needs and comfort levels and bodies are different.
If you're looking to meet a need for just a bunch of women your essentials should probably be maxi pads first and a variety pack of tampons second, if your budget allows. Everyone can make do with pads in an emergency. Unless it's a swim team meet or something, who knows. What is this for, a women's shelter? Clothing drive? Foster homes?

This is for something different that hasn't come yet...but may be coming soon. Pray I'm wrong. Hope I'm wrong. But thank you for the help. I tried reading up. I have the money to spare. I would prefer buying in bulk...I hate the looks the walk mart clerks giving me past day filling up shopping cart after shopping cart of canned foods etc. Like I'm crazy. I know how it looks. Im perfectly aware how it sounds even to other Christians. It doesn't matter though.

I have my path and I've prayed for the past 7 years to be an instrument available to god.

But again...thank you...I'll see what wal mart offers and look for the pads and the variety thing. Thankyou

You can use a generic pain reliever, does not have to be midol. Aspirin and ibuprofen are fine.

They have specialized sites for this kinda stuff. Those pads will do and indeed don't forget diapers if you also want to help babies. I saw more preppers on another christian forum. I was amazed. I only prepare spiritually. If there is no food anymore I'll pray for manna. One guy seriously told me to dig a hole to be safe.

I should preface that with, whoever this population of people are, be careful with whatever you provide for pain relief, and how it's dispensed...some people have bad reactions to seemingly harmless doses of aspirin.

Stone, I'm genuinely interested in the origin of the question as well, and am looking forward to your answer. :)

Hellooo gave you some invaluable information, and I just wanted to add that she is most definitely correct in that if you are buying something specific for someone, it's very important to know what they prefer and/or need. Some products contain scents and/or materials that some women are allergic to. What works for one woman might cause a severe reaction for another. I would suggest choosing products with "plain" materials (cotton and no rayon, which is wood pulp) if at all possible and without any fragrance.

I don't know if you have a membership at a place like Costco or Sam's, or know someone who does, but definitely check there if you are looking for large quantities. I haven't been in Sam's in a while but have seen boxes there that are designed to last an entire year.

The products you are asking about are always on the list of "Needed Items" at women's shelters and many places for the homeless, so whatever (charitable cause, presumably?) you are supporting, God bless! :)

Are you preparing for "the end of the world"? If you are, you can forget about pads and pain meds and all of that.

now why would God put someone who gets huffy over any sort of skepticism in charge of saving hundreds or more?

I would make a lousy dictator...I would hate being in charge of so many people :p

As far as pain relievers go, I once had a boyfriend who was an EMT and he always suggested Advil (ibuprofen) over other types of pain relievers because he said it's designed to be a muscle relaxant.

I'm sure others may have a different opinion but I've always remembered that advice.
