...you have ever used or considered the use of the username "Logic Gate" on any non technical message board. B) You know what this term means without looking it up as it's part of your education/field of study.

When you get excited about a revolution in 1381 that actually accomplished nothing.

What if I know what it means, but it's not a part of my education/field? Am I a displaced nerd/geek?

You can help support this displaced nerd for as little as a dollar a day.

The new game you're eagerly looking forward to playing is an emulated version of Galaga.

If you need spreadsheets to organize other spreadsheets, you may as well just jump in with both feet and build a database.

I spent 6 hours watching a 2-part documentary on the American Revolution just about a week ago.. It kept me awake two nights in a row! :)
And I think this is by far the best, most riveting and complete documentary on it ever.. (and its live actors, not illustrations like the thumbnail)

It was in part inspired by the English revolt of 1381. Thomas Paine rehabilitated Wat Tyler's image. Before then, he was reviled as a "ribald" and a "villain". Robert Southey at the age of 19, wrote a play about Tyler and a toast "May there ever be a Wat Tyler as long as there are tax collectors!" But he was embarrased because he didn't approve of the violence of the French Revolution, so tried to suppress his play for the rest of his life. The play outsold the rest of his writings, three fold.

I was glad to find this out, because the whole time I was reading the book, I was thinking "what a fantastic movie the events of 1381 would make".

...when I've been looking at my finances and figuring out how long it would take me to purchase the 1/72 and 1/144 scale Bandai Star Wars model kits to hold in reserve until such time as I could build them and display them.

...when at the doctor's office today, out of all the magazine selections to read while waiting, I go for the one issue of Scientific American and am riveted by the article about the new detection methods for supermassive black holes.
