Yeah. Brand-name definitely doesn't equal quality.

I would have to go with quality. As far as possessions or buying something, it depends on what you are buying and what you need it for.

When I seen that question, I did not think of objects. I may be an odd ball, but I thought of my friends. I guess a good example would be Facebook. I have less than 25 friends on my facebook. All I have known for over a year and know their character. I know the things they post will not be full of drama, or bad stuff. I see enough bad in the world at my job,on the news, and just out and about. I choose to have a few great quality friends over a quantity of iffy friends.

Sleeping like a baby? Does that mean waking up crying every 2 hours?

When I was single I used to sleep on the floor. Now I sleep on a bed. It's quality time.

My mom was a borderline hoarder, so I'm definitely adverse to quantity. I believe in quality everything (in a non-materialistic way of course).

Has anyone yet admitted that they would prefer a bunch of crappy stuff over quality?

i slept on a bed when i was single. when i got married we slept on the floor.

(until we could afford a mattress - those are expensive!)

((but in the end, after a couple months, we bought a single, quality mattress instead of 6 so-so ones.))

And, if you have a sweet kind loving caring godly beautiful wife to share it with --- it is blessed quality time... :D

( I am pretty sure I know what Darlene would say... ;) )

Ask any child if he would rather have one really good sucker or six dum-dum suckers. ;)

I was thinking about this thread yesterday, and I was thinking about Wal-Mart house brands. Their "great value" food is neither great nor a good value. Their "durabrand" electronics aren't durable at all.

BUT...

Their "equate" medicines are just as good. At least the ibuprophen (gellcaps even!) worked just like the official name brand, and their hand lotion did the job just like Johnson & Johnson's.

Do you prefer having many little things than having only one, but the best quality?
I'd rather have one 20 ounce bottle of Coca Cola than 20 cases of Pepsi.

Quality, not quantity.

You know... most people who say that prefer Pepsi in blind tests
(probably works the other way around as well)

Quality for somethings like sneakers or a car, something like that. T shirts, laundry detergent quantity.
