GLHF = "God loves Heralding Females."

Mankind has a certain glory - of bodies, wealth, and accomplishments. It is wise to acknowledge this, and to see how God describes His glory, so that we will consciously make the correct "exchange" of glory: from ephemeral (or short-lived) to permanent, from fading to ever increasing. While temporary, men's and women's glory can be vivid. Denial is of no help here, since it merely sets us up to fall when the glory of man suddenly strikes us afresh. God is not asking us to kid ourselves, but to enter into covenant with Him. What He offers us is an incredible deal giving us life apart from death, and being loved by Him to be viewed as a sign that something greater than the greatest of men and women, is on the way.

"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18).

Changed Females, along with males are the windows God uses in heralding the hope which came to earth and called us to heaven; that being Jesus Christ.

Welcome Brandon87!

Ok...

What is with the arguing back and forth between a new member and a current member?

Is this really necessary?

GLHF

- To a gamer this acronym is slang for "Good Luck Have Fun," but as an author I look at this with a different perspective. In my observation, I can recall four absolute words that I would desire to have in a relationship, and those four words are:

GENUINE: Being real with yourself, and to others. Don't be wishy washy, don't be someone you're not, and don't be fake.
LOVING: Be content with who you've chosen to be with, find the reasons you've loved them, remember that love endures.
HONESTY: If you can confess your sins to God, you can definitely confess your mistakes, faults, and anxieties to your love.
FAITHFUL: We can't just say, we're only human.. We need to REALLY try to love God & others as we love ourselves, never cheat, and never stop giving up, it's 100 times harder to recover from a fall with either so DON'T DO IT.

{This is my first thread after finding Christian chat. My goals are to try this site out and see how things go, along with helping others, gaining feedback from others, and maybe someday finding someone to spend my life with along the way.}
I like your four letters but I like mine better:

MUTE! :cool:

Not a fan of how some back in the day it was trendy seemed to use it as a "cool" acronym but the exact meaning answers the title of this thread in such an awesome way. Well maybe more of 4 letters behind every successful relationship
