So lately God has been dealing with me a lot about my character. Not that He hasn't before but lately He's been requiring me to pay more attention to my character ABOVE anything else. When we say YES to God, we give Him permission to CONFRONT anything IN us that's not like Him.....I can't tell you all how many times I've been challenged in the area of my attitude, reactions, and even my ability to love and forgive in the past two weeks! Does it hurt when you're legitimately done wrong and God COMMANDS you to still display HIS character anyway? Absolutely! But I realize that I'M BEING GROOMED FOR THE NEW PLACE!!!!

Whenever God is in the process of taking us higher, the first thing that He begins to deal with is our character! He watches our attitude and even our reactions to opposition to determine if we're really ready for the NEW PLACE! I'm not really ready for promotion if I haven't MASTERED being able to face opposition while still keeping my HEART CLEAN!!!

For many of you reading this, like myself, you're being challenged in the area of your character. God is using difficult situations to expose the condition of your heart. He's watching how you handle opposition. He's watching your reaction. He's watching your attitude. Can you still display the love of Christ even when people are difficult to love? Can you apologize even when you're not in the wrong?

I know it hurts but.... if you can just get through this test the RIGHT way!!!!!

.....Glorrrrrry!!!!!! There's a NEW PLACE on the other side of this! There's a NEW GLORY on the other side of this! There's a NEW anointing on the other side of this! ♡

Has God been dealing with anybody else about the condition of your heart lately? I think we as singles have got to get this love and forgiveness thing together before we even consider marriage!

I absolutely agree. There will always be work to do on our hearts (while we're on this earth, anyway), so it's definitely a process.

And when we we face unfair treatment, hardships, etc, some people use that as an excuse to sin, or have a short temper, or take the easy way out... but we need to make sure we do the right thing and treat others right no matter what everyone else does or what else is going on in our lives.

Do we always get it right? Of course not. We are human. :( But even if person A was 68% wrong, and person B was 1% wrong, person B still needs to recognize and deal with that 1%.

I absolutely agree! When we stand in front of God at the end of our lives we're not going to be able to blame anyone else for our actions. This is a hard message for some to accept because the flesh wants to blame everyone else instead of taking responsibility for its own actions. It's tough, but SO REWARDING in the end. :)

I thought it meant the same thing!!! ....wow!!
Of course Heaven is the place that we all as Christians should attain to spend eternally but in this particular devotion I'm talking about elevation and promotion here in the earth to a GREATER place spiritually and even physically. Kind of sort of like going into the promise land. There's a Higher place here in the earth that the Father is calling us to, and in order to get there we have to exemplify Him in ALL that we do!
