I never get intimate in a relationship apart from marriage. In a recent relationship, we rushed the intimacy with the understanding we were going to get engaged. It fell apart and there was fallout from breaking God's laws. It's not worth it. It wasn't that enjoyable because we didn't fall in love, and there was guilt associated with an unblessed relationship. I noticed signs of what non-christians call "bad karma" or negative things happening from disobeying God. God's laws and boundaries matter and they are important to a healthy relationship with God and between men and women. "All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose," but, when we disobey God's values, which are supposed to be our own, there will be negative consequences. He can not and will not compromise His commandments. He also can not and will not compromise His vows to us as sons and daughters of the New Covenant. When we repent of our sins and turn to God once again, we can return to blessed fellowship with Heaven's family.
When I repented in this relationship, I experienced freedom and healing, and I'm hoping the lady friend did also.
