why am i here?

I could be anywhere else. What is my purpose for being here?

What is wrong with me?
I must have something seriously mentally wrong with me.

It's a gorgeous day, and I volunteered to come in and work overtime...I must be insane. If they ask me to work tomorrow, I will. I should be headed to the lake or packing for a road trip...but no. I am at work. I have lost my mind.

Are you alright, buddy?

You might be suffering from depression and/or something like that (I'm no expert).
I really want to help but I really don't have any encouraging words, so I recommend you try consulting with a doctor?
Either that, or you can always read the Bible for encouragement <3

Stay strong, buddy! You're not worthless! <3

But the money, man! The moooooneeeeeeey!

On payday you'll be happy! :D :D :D

I appreciate the concern, but I'm great. Just had a moment of ecclesiastical lamentationizing about the woe experienced when one discovers themselves stuck at work on a day which would have Ansel Adams clamoring for his camera.

Ah. I thought it was an existential crisis. I'm constantly asking "why am I here?" and I never get an answer unless I talk to myself, which I often do.

I would make a slight adjustment to the phrasing of the first line though to "make a list of the things you value"
