Singles forum is for people who are single to talk about issues and topics of interest to single people. It is NOT for trying to find partners. This is not a dating site.

What the gentlemen forgot to say was welcome guriya. We're glad you're here and this is a great place to come for fellowship. I'm sure it's tough being both a Christian and an older unmarried woman in pakistan. Well done for sticking to the Lord's commands in a difficult situation.

As you can probably tell by the guys' responses, you're unlikely to get a good guy responding positively to a post like this around here. Please do be careful as it is much worse to end up in a bad marriage than to remain single, and posts like this can easily attract the worst kind of guys. Do stick around and become part of our little community though, it's still a pretty good place to be, even if you don't find the perfect man here (there are some pretty good ones lurking about that make great friends).

But howdy guriya. Not even sure how to pronounce that, but hello anyway. You will probably not find what you want here, but you might just find what you need.

Well said Cinder. Although this is not a dating site and one for seeking advice as the sub-title states, it does not mean that singles can't network or "seek advice" for potentially meeting a Godly person. Besides, it amazes me how the regulars seem to just come out of the wood works to pounce on anyone who deviates from the sub-topic with their curt remarks. Ones of which doesn't exactly exude a safe, welcoming environment, particularly for someone from the middle-east.

Praise God for your more poised response reflective of a Christian one.
