I guess the thing I'm scared of is the process of death....as in, what is going to kill me?

I'm not afraid of what lies after I die, since I know for certainty where I'll be :)
Meh you'll be dead eventually (shrugs) then it won't be a bother.
That's just how I think of it

That I will end up in a nursing home in Norway.

Seriously.
Overall our healthcare service is good, but old people are treated like .... by the government.
Now they don't have enough rooms in retirement apartments so they want to have two and two share the same apartment.... and still pay rent, from their pension...

Lack of money is my biggest fear in life, and I've had that problem for years. I have literally lived by faith because I had nothing and had no idea where needed money would come from. God has been faithful but I battle monthly with the fear when things come up I didn't plan on and I have a very limited budget. It is such a huge responsibility to be the breadwinner and it weighs on me so heavily sometimes. I have to constantly give it to God, and then the fear comes back. Plus I have practically nothing for retirement, due to circumstances I could never have foreseen.

Yes especially in this world. The good news is, the Lord will give us the strength and courage to endure. When He was talking to the disciples at the end of John, just before the Ascension, He told Peter that his death6would be used to glorify God. So ours too.

This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, “Follow Me.”

That my son will not chase after God as an adult. He is a wonderful Godly man at 18 but his exposure as a young adult in college will be full of temptations and choices. Honestly, this is my biggest fear.

Looking back on a life of opportunities gone to waste.

Though I think my fear of this sufficiently motivates me to act so I won't do that.

Every so often I sit down and take stock of what I could be doing better. How I can be a little less selfish and a little more grateful.

I'll be a name next to two dates on a page like almost everyone else. But I hope that those I could touch remember me as a protector and positive influence.

Monkeys. Hate those things! In The Jungle Book, the new one, I thought I was going to have a heard attack when that giant orangutan started chasing the kid.

I guess it would be that my life never had any real meaning anyway.

You are one of the people around here that I can readily assure that is not the case.

That's part of the norm where I live in Florida. You either scream like a girl and run in the opposite direction & let them kill you in your sleep or you deal with it & sleep like a baby. Lol. I choose the latter. :) You scared of scorpions, Zero?

Yeah, that. Spiders are cool outside - anything that eats mosquitoes has my vote. But if they come inside they are where they shouldn't be so they forfeit vote and life.

Like this one?

Or this one?

The spider on top I would probably leave to a professional. But the one on the bottom looks like a brown recluse. I've killed many of those. Almost as big as in the video. They can jump pretty far. Their bite is acidic. It'll eat through your skin & leave a gaping hole if you're not careful. Ugh, I hate spiders.

My greatest fear is being alone now.
I fear that I will lose my boys because of this divorce.
I fear Christ will come back and my family will be left behind.

I know that I should not fear Isaiah 41:10 for God is with me
