Well. This has been entertaining.

Not that I expected anything less...

As far as someone addressing me, I respond to most things that are generally respectful, but I refer to myself as a man.

I did notice the list didn't have 'chap', 'fellow', 'guy', 'mate' or 'mcp'. Thanks for skipping that last one, btw. ;)

My Husband is a very calm person who isn't easy to anger, his co workers call him Angry Dave. There are also a lot of Dave's where he works so that makes it easier too. I think it's hysterical and he doesn't mind.

Hey, it is all about gendet equality peeps. Let the men also have their say!

Personally, I like to be addressed as Lord Troll McPokerface.
I like to be addressed simply as:
"Oh my gosh, It's him! It's really him!"

Not a lot to ask is it?

I prefer to hide and pop up at random times so people will wonder who that crazy guy is. :p

Seriously, I prefer just being called by my first name or one of the nicknames I have gained.

What a great thread, lol! I'm not voting, because all of the above was not an option.

Anything's fine, more or less... I was cracking up/embarrassing myself at the thought of how many things you could put here...

I mean, sure, you could be proper (propriety) with things like Mr, Sir, Doctor, Title of Nobility, etc...

I want to get a doctorate, actually, and then correct people for not calling me by my first name (instead of the other more common experience), but then again...Dr Player has a nice ring to it. ^_~

Then there's the silly things... Like -The Warrior Poet of Azgard -Purveyor of Odd Things -or other gaming and internet type titles

I mean, hey, I was even thinking of weird pet names in relationship settings: fluffyumplekins, Booglieberry. And things that...

For those that ever watched Dane Cook, "I said no cookies, Hrhrhrhrhr!"

Nah. CJ is my nickname. It uses the first letter of my Christian name and of my surname. Your suggestion was funny but not very practical. ;)
You totally look like a CJ to me! Not so much a "Christian" (I only mean the name of course).
(I remember seeing your pics awhile back)

Hey, boy! Do as I tell ya, boy!
s...slavey? Is this slavery? Does anyone else see the conncection?

----------

I don't care what you call me, just call me when it's dinner time. :D

I don't care about Mr. or Sir or all that stuff. Just call me Isaac, or Lynx on the forum. I don't mind people calling me Sir or Mr. or whatever, but I don't really notice if they don't.
Can I call you 'Sir Isaac Lynxton?" ovo

From Baywatch or The West Wing? ;)

I didn't mean a celebrity, I just meant it seems to fit you better in my opinion.

(but I was a fan of Pamela Anderson back in the day.... (CJ from baywatch):D)

We respect you, we just don't like to be called boys.
