What I learned from this article is:

Violent feudal nobles had to be on the left so they could easily fight and kill.
Conscientious farmers who didn't want to run over people started the trend of being on the right so they could look where they're going.

So clearly those in Britain, Australia, and other left hand driving countries are old fashioned ruffians looking for an excuse for violence while the rest of us are compassionate and concerned individuals who don't want to do any harm.

That's what that article meant, right? (and yes it was an interesting read, thanks Miri).

In the UK an Englishman's home is his castle. It might be a very little shoe box of a castle
but it's still a castle.

"Why would they post deer crossing signs? That's silly! Deer can't read."

"Um... no, but they can recognize pictures of themselves. Here's your sign."

I once rode on the Autobahn in Germany with my employer in his Porsche.I was only 18 at the time so perhaps the experience wasn't fully appreciated by me.We drove from a town called Gutersloh to Frankfurt.:)
I would've thought it would be easy to enjoy a Porsche ride no matter the occasion. What kind of job did you have then, Mooky?

Left Lane Drivers FRUSTRATE me to no end. I don't understand why people choose to drive in the left hand lane and stay in that lane for no reason. Today, I had to do a lot of driving. And, I came across over 2 dozen drivers that just stayed in the left lane and many were going below the speed limit. WHY?!?
That's one of the great benefits of being a seasoned traveller across multiple continents! You quickly become adept at sitting on the opposite of the car you would normally as you do driving on the opposite side of the road. Those were some of my greatest memories though driving through a couple of states in America, learning how to drive with different road skills, but it's definitely a skill that's made me so much more prepared for future travels. #America 2017!

One of my my cousins had a second hand red Porsche, he was a car trader and he
bought it for £60,000. He gave me a few lifts in it.

It seemed like the seat was set so low that you were almost skimming the tarmac.
It was awful to get in and out of, a right struggle. I didn't look like it!

He only had it 9 months then decided to sell it as it attracted too much attention.
He was scared it would get stolen. He then bought a small run about car instead.

He use to swap cars like people swap socks,in fact he still does.

Sounds like the way I swap operating systems. A computer in my possession might have a different OS every day of the week, just because I want to see what certain OS are like.
