I typically dislike Christmas movies. They're either incredibly saccharine or shallow or preachy.

That said, I enjoy movies like Gremlins and Die Hard.

I uh..... still like those old 60s Christmas cartoons I grew up with : p

Like Rudolph or Santa Clause Comes to Town and all those : p

I also love that Garfield Christmas cartoon where they go to Johns family home. I always really liked that as a child for some reason. I think it captures what Christmas should be, a time with family (needs the message of Christ though, but at least it was about time with family : p)

And of course, due to my older brother, A Christmas Story is a common film we watch during the holidays, haha. Its a good film though, I enjoy it.

And a friend and I plan to watch Oliver the Other Reindeer this Christmas season, too. Its a cute film as well.

I might post more later as I think of them : p

Hogfather (yeah it starts out slow and confusing, but by the end it's got some great observations on belief and how necessary it is for people, and how many other Christmas movies are there that star the grim reaper?)

It's a wonderful life

The Nativity story

Muppet Christmas Carol (because muppets, what's not to love?)

Christmas Vacation is hilarious... especially the scene with the squirrel lol

I'd add:

The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Polar Express
The Santa Clause
Prancer
Frosty the Snowman(1969) ... Yes, I count that as a Christmas movie :p

I must admit I still love that old Ebeneezer Scrooge movie. But then that's it. I'm not big on Christmas movies. To be honest I tend to avoid them. Santa always seems to take centre stage. They also seem to give the impression that goodwill towards others has a season. the rest of the year we can be mean.

The Santa Claus with Tim Allen...I love that one! Probably my favorite Christmas movie ever.
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...any of those classic claymation movies.
Elf is very fun too! Some of the Nutcracker ones are good. I've seen many like the Disney one and the shorter cartoon ones. A Charlie Brown Christmas. Which don't I like? :p
And this little Christmas cartoon I would watch as a kid, it's short but super cute!
