Would anyone like to trade fitness tips? I am current light weight training and am trying to lose 20 pounds. I am extremely tired though. I was tired before but I thought exercising would help this. Has anyone else experienced this? Does it get better after you build up cardio stamina and lose weight. I have a protein shake after my workout but not always.

It will take some time for your body to adjust to things that it's not used to doing. The cardio will definitely help eventually as you build up your endurance. I would say to make sure that you're drinking plenty of water throughout the day and get some kind of pre-workout snack in or maybe take your protein shake beforehand. Also, make sure that you're not overdoing it. Listen to your body. There might be days where you need to cut back or get on the bike instead of the treadmill, etc. Some days we just don't have it and that's okay.

Just keep at it :)

If you're too tired to get motivated, it may take some coffee to get into your workout... do what you gotta do.

Just stick with it; it takes time, like Bruce was saying.

FYI, if partaking of the sacred coffee beans, drink extra fluids so you don't dehydrate.

It's great to hear that you are working out! :)

As Bruce said, have a preworkout meal. I suggest that you have a meal with a high carb content, like peanut butter sandwich or oats. You can supplement it with caffeine. Have a lot of water throughout the day. Also, please have at least 7 hours of sleep so that your body can recover.

You can also consider having a protein shake after workout as it will help with recovery. Please check with your doc before you purchase one.

Thank you Bruce and everyone. I really need to be more vigilant about the pre and/or post workout snacks. Getting enough sleep is a problem for me too. Love all the advice. Thank you again.

The most important thing to lose weight is to cut back on sugars and starches (carbs). These are the foods that stimulate secretion of insulin the most. Insulin is the main fat storage hormone in the body. So, cut back on sugars and starches. Also, strictly, limit high-fat foods. You can follow diet routine from livre régime and livre minceur. My friend has chosen thé cellulite to shed weight. The detox tea is also an excellent option to loose weight. Exercise are also very, very important for maintaining lost weight.

Necromancy is a dark art you know that right? :D

I'm feeling a bit guilty now about the ice cream I had after lunch.

Also, for those browsing, beware of that link. It contains images of a woman in her underwear. Some of you might think I'm crazy for saying that, but guard you eyes in the little things and the big things will take care of themselves.

Is this the Adkins diet that was in vogue years ago?
