The new year will be here very soon and I was thinking about goals, dreams, and hopes I have for the new year. Some of my goals are as follows:
1. Work on my writing project
2. Finish working through Paul's epistles
3. Continue my fitness journey
4. Improve my photography skills
-and-
5. Let my creative side out more often

Do y'all have any goals, hopes, or dreams that you want to share? Let's encourage one another and push forward with God's help.
:)

Get into a good, Bible believing church and involved into some type of ministry, not be so self absorbed, and trust God when everything seems out of control. I've got like maybe a hundred more, but these are the top three.

I love this thread:)

I'd like to work on a new fitness goal this year. I have a few potential races I'm considering training for.
I'm also hoping to get the chance to travel somewhere interesting ( even within the US or Canada)

Probably my biggest wish or desire would be to make a few new Christian friends this year. I would really enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship.

My goal is... um... my goal... hmm...

To live another year and see what it brings and what I can do with it. Every time I make a goal something unpredictable happens, so this year I'm just going to live and see what happens, and try to handle it as it comes.

Sorry. I know that sounds a bit pathetic but it's all I've got. Though I do have a few songs for which I want to make soundtracks.

1. Build evil genius lair.
2. Hire trusted underlings and henchmen.
3. Accomplish a dastardly deed.
4. Profit.

1. To get back to the gym and stay there.
2. To write better and more relevant material for our church group studies (That's my one role at our local church)
3. To establish our small business (started in 2016) and ensure that its on a path to growth.
4. To start learning a musical instrument. A friend takes piano lessons. Its something I always wanted to do.
5. I going back to school to do a degree in the humanities - community development etc so 2017 will be the 1st year.
6. To be much deeper in my walk with God.

My goal is just to be more open to God and His will instead of putting my own desires first like i used to do

This is so similar to mine I can't believe it!!!

1. Build evil genius lair.
I'm just going to build an evil lair... that whole "genius" thing is just so much pressure.

2. Hire trusted underlings and henchmen.
I don't like the "hire" part. I'm thinking if I can brainwash them like zombies, they'll work for free.

3. Accomplish a dastardly deed.
Why limit yourself to just one?

4. Profit.
Yeah, but I'm really seeing multiple profit centers here.
And if you get it all streamlined, you can FRANCHISE!

If I could somehow manage the logistics of administering a healthy dose of cod liver oil to everyone in the world while they sleep and then stimulating their sneeze responses upon waking up, that would be a single dastardly deed I could feel good about and retire happily.

If you can work on the logistics,
I'll set up the crowdfunding.

We'll call it performance art.
