Air Food and Water
Three basic things you can't live without.
Which one could you live with and why?

For me that would be food.

Without air there would probably be no wind.
No paper airplanes, kites, or hot air balloons.
No gentle breeze on those morbidly hot days.
No water! How would I swim?
Its gotta be food.
I tend to over eat. If the wrong things are in house I prefer them over healthy choices.
Though I do love fruit and I would miss pears.
But yup has to be food.

Um.....

What?

I would suffocate if there was no air, I would starve if there was no food and I would dry out without water, so I can't really choose anything. If either of those things vanished from the planet like you seem to be implying, everyone will die.

So, following that same logic, it will have to be food. It would kill everyone in the slowest amount of time. If I took away air, everyone will die in just a couple of minutes. Without water, you can usually survive for about 5 days. But if I took away food, it would take about a month for everyone to die. It's the best I can do for everyone here on Earth.

...But I may be a little sadistic.

Lol! The way you framed this made me laugh! And change my answer in my head.

I'll now pick the quick way with no air. Just get it over with!

WineRose, I'll leave the long drawn out death for you! :p

Man, the threads that get started while I'm asleep...

I was thinking the same thing as GODisLOVE7. Get it over with quickly, death by asphyxiation. Starving is no way to go, or so I've heard.

Wow. That went morbid rather quickly. The question was what you could live without not how you plan to die.

Yeah, we get that. But living without any of them causes death. The only choice would be how quickly to die.

and how miserable you are until you die.

Lack of oxygen takes only a couple of minutes until the brain shuts down and less than that before higher reasoning (the ability to realize you are suffocating) shuts down

Lack of water takes a few days to a week (depending on climate and exertion levels) and you know you are thirsty the whole darn time

Lack of food takes 4 to 5 weeks and in reality there is a time in the middle where hunger pangs shut down but you're still uncomfortable the whole time.

Well how are we SUPPOSED to answer it? Which one would we rather do without? None, I can't do without any of them.

...But the quick way ain't fun! Starvation takes about a month to kill like I said, so it would be fun to see the news stations and the government freak out about the sudden disappearence of all the food on the planet! At least I can just setlle down and watch the resulting mass panic before my untimely death.

...What is wrong with me...
