Default A Man desires a Woman

Today I saw a video of a woman that was explaining why she thought that men in the US were seeking women from Asia. She explained that she believed that women in the west were becoming like men and that Asian women still have that feminine attribute to them. I believe that is not far from the truth. In the US women have adopted large trucks, taken on jobs that only men used to do, they use vulgar language and even chew spit tobacco (even Copenhagen), they drink beers, fart, burp, cut their hair short, wear jeans and show off. US women have sought to fill the man's position in the house as leader and be in charge of the finances and sneak off to go party at the bar late at night while leaving daddy home with the kids (no married person has any business in a bar or club). Women have sought to "flop the table" on men. This may strike some men as fancied but it is far from my ideal.
Men want a womanly woman, one that wears a dress and wears it well, long hair, smells pretty. The last thing a guy wants in a wife is her to be one of the guys. No man wants to marry their Bro! Men need a woman to take care of, that is what we desire and it's buried deep within. If we have a woman that we cannot take care of then we are not fulfilling our purpose as a husband. We need women to rely on us to protect them and if we are not allowed to do that then there is an empty void in the marriage. Men want a woman that desires to have a family (kids and a husband). A man does not want a woman that runs off in the middle of the night and goes off and flirts with other guys. Men don't want to be jealous over their wives, that takes away from the bond of the marriage and is cheating. Men do not want a woman that dresses her body to be adored by every other man but rather a woman who is all their own and they can love endlessly. Men want a family and kids and the woman that oversees the love in them.
Men need to be that leader and need to feel that they are protecting and caring for their wife. Men want to adore their wife in every way and know that she has the paste to hold the love together and the desire to let the man be the man. Not only is it of God's creation for the man to lead the wife but it is also mandatory for the man to feel that he has that purpose. I feel that women have this knowledge built in but some how the US has set a different standard for women. We have sabotaged our own mothers and daughters and wife's. Now if only can explain to me what God means when he says the woman's desire shall be to her husband???

Id imagine women could say the same about men in the west, that they are all becoming too feminine.

Im honestly not at all concerned about this. As long as people arent actually refusing the roles and responsibilities they have, then I dont really care. If a woman doesnt want to act all graceful and giggle quietly at everything and act all dainty, but doesnt try to act like she belongs to the other gender, then I dont think its at all a serious issue.

I think most people believe that our genes make us want to act this way or that way, depending on our gender. I dont believe thats true : p I think people merely act in a way thats pleasing to them. Some people enjoy societal gender roles. Some people think theyre annoying : p Theres doing whats right and avoiding whats wrong, and then theres merely keeping appearances up because of peer pressure.

That sounds great but I wonder about that... I suppose that is the way that it is in a relationship that walks with Christ. They know him and their ways are within his will. In my experiences, my marriages were not so. Christ was not the center and therefore my marriage was in the dark. Now I know and I know him now!

For me, its about having a Christ-centered relationship. God gave us a blueprint in the Bible, and although I haven't had this type of relationship, I do strive for it and know it is possible.

I trust God will match me with the right man, in His time. Im not worried about what they wear, how they look, or their annoying human habits. That is focusing on worldly fleeting things.

What I do care about is their walk with Christ and easiest way to tell what kind of tree they are is by the fruits they produce. Flirting with others, cheating, and running of in the night is obviously bad fruit. Patience, humility, kindness and submission to God are good fruit.

In my case, I do not wear make up. I wear jeans, plaid shirts and Converse. I actually tend to be super laid back (like a dude) and prefer simplicity rather than trying to be "feminine".

Do those things really matter if I'm producing good fruit and my heart belongs to God?

    LOL funny.
Men have receded in all of this and there is much confusion. You took this down a path that I did not wish. Our spirit has absolutely nothing to do with our genes. I abhor social media and expectation. Expectation is what causes failure. If only husband and wife could rely on God and let him do his work then that's where their trust would be. This is only a serious issue if someone wants a marriage and one that is based with Christ in the center. It seems you have a preconceived notion of how women should act in your own words. Base line JESUS needs to come first in anything.

Exactly, Jesus needs to be the center of every relationship or it will crumble. Expectations only lead to failures. If we put our might and our trust in the Lord and walk with him then our ways are in conjunction with his will. Worldly ideology is a poison. We must drop our expectation and lean on the Almighty.

I'm just joking, buddy. American women are too masculine. She has a point.

Overall, I think people have just forgotten how to really relate to each other at the local level. It's unfortunate.

    It is all about attitude.

When a man abuse the manly part that was instilled in him by God, he will abuse his wife through his dominance and "manly behaviour".

The same goes for a woman, she should not use her femininity as weapon against men but rather as an instrument to build relationship with her husband.

If man and woman combine the roles as per the instruction from our Father they will be a formidable team

    B.but...

You want a womanly woman who is feminine and wears dresses and looks
attractive, with long hair, but you don't want her to dress up for other men.......

So does that mean that you really want a manly woman who wears jeans and shirts
and has short hair (cos until you marry her, you are one of those other men she is not
    allowed to dress up for).
He is God and we are not.

Oh no! I'm not judging you, TheLastKnight. Not at all!

I offered my perspective as a single Christian woman. Obviously, you care about God... Thats clear! By focusing only on Him, He will give you the desires of your heart.

I'm just sayin the clothes don't necessairly make the woman. Worldly stuff is... Well, for the world. We are in this world, not of this world. Focusing above is freedom from those chains.

You could be missing out on a real gem out there!

Eek. Maybs my jeans and shirts get me mistaken for being manly.

Not gonna walk around naked (Good suggestion Tommy379, but having such a small frame it wouldnt work for me like it would for curvy girls)
