Some people don’t know that when they do evil to Christians, they are doing it to JESUS CHRIST. They don’t know that when they persecute Christians, they are persecuting JESUS CHRIST.

Some people do know it. No point in thinking that even if they do know that this would make them stop. Jesus said that if the world hated Him it will hate His followers also so in reality there is nothing too strange about the fact that Christians are being persecuted.
