It's 100% true.
I don't share pizza, and that's totally why I am single! That's the #1 thing my dates complain about all the time!
Rest assured though... As much as I love hogging it all to myself, I'd just get you your own instead. Problem solved!
I dunno about Catherder tho. The guy is nothing but trouble. (And besides, he just helps himself without asking anyway.)

I think that was rude, obnoxious, & just plain stupid.
I mean, really, if that person really wanted to know, they coulda just asked me, "Don't she evvva shut up"?
I could have told them very matta-of- factly, "whyyyyyyyy nooooooo".

The funny thing is though, you guys only know me through writing. The handful (and growing!) number of people who've actually met me or talked to me here are always surprised that in real life, I do a lot more listening than talking. I like to process and ruminate on the conversation first, and often ask people to re-tell me a story from their life. I need time to let it sink in. And this is exactly why I write--writing the result of my processing and is me taking a turn at talking.
I've actually had people here tell me they're surprised at how little I've talked on the phone when we finally do chat. And if I hang out in CC chat, I rarely to ever try for a grab at the mic. One of the mods once even expressed surprise at this!
But if I do talk a lot around someone in real life, it means I feel super comfortable with them, but that takes time for me. I also like it because I hope that writing can be a little more convenient for the person I'm talking to. They can just read what I'm thinking at their own leisure, even if it takes days (or weeks... months... a millenium...)
So, it's not uncommon if I have an hour-long conversation with someone, and talk for maybe 15 minutes of that hour (and most of this is spent asking questions.)
However, that poor person just might receive a 4-page email the next day. (And the next... and the next... )
That is TOTALLY me. (And by day 3, that person has probably put me on their "spam" list anyway.)

No, Cat and I are not dating (imagine the massive numbers of additional hate reps I'd get if we were), but yes, we have met in person--and he's quite the handsome, dashing fellow, I must say. Hint, hint, ladies! Plus, he's even cooler in person than he is here, which is pretty tough to pull off.
