There's a thread called "Streams of Consciousness and Thought" that we use as kind of a general sharing thread. If you want to know what is going on with the regular forum members' daily lives, that's the place to check. It's also a good place to get to know people.
Also, whatever thread you find yourself in, don't worry too much about going off topic. We try to keep most of the threads to the original topic, but we don't stress too much about it if a given thread takes an occasional derail. This is a fairly chill place, the Singles Forum.
