Oh haha me too! I remember Duncan being the big brand everyone wanted, and I remember hearing my brothers talk about the one they made, think it was called the Butterfly? But I remember them talking as if it were the greatest yoyo ever made, haha.
I also remember this pizza place in my town (lived in Ohio at the time) that offered free yoyos to children who came with their parents there to eat, and my brothers wanting to go merely for that reason : p
Does anyone remember pogs? I had some of them from my elementary school teacher : p Hed give you one if you said hello to him, haha.
I also remember Mighty Max and Tiger Electronics handheld games : p Those were huge when we were kids, and we had a bunch of them from my Grandpa : p I remember having a Star Wars Mighty Max toy from the battle on Hoth scene, it had a trap door and everything, it was really neat : p
And I actually really liked those Tiger games growing up, for whatever reason : p They were made with those cheap little LED screens but I was always excited to get a new one, haha.

Yeah I got excited about those tiger games too. I had low expectations as a kid apparently lol. I remember having pogs. I always wanted the Goosebump ones. I still want the Goosebump ones lol. I remember when pokemon came out. Some of my fondest memories are play pokemon for the gba and collecting the cards. I remember having an unhealthy emotional attachment to my pokemon stuff. It was like a drug Its hard to explain how great it was to a person who didn't grow up in the 90's lol

Scary thing. Out of all that has been mentioned, I remember Hammer Time. (And never saw anyone wear those pants in public. lol) And I've heard of Chemical Romance. They're not around anymore? Yo-yos? Yeah, even back when I was little there were professional yo-yoers. Duncan brought the toy to schools by promoting the tricks.
My memories? When bell bottoms became big. Some so big, they were called "elephant bells." I still have my mood ring somewhere. Lost my Pet socks along the way. (No. Really. Pet socks came after pet rocks. lol) Disco! (I was a disco diva, although closer to K.C. from K.C. and the Sunshine Band, than Gloria Gaynor or Donna Summers.) Saturday Night Fever killed discos.
Fros! I had one. Not as big as Billy Preston, but I had one. Always had to have a pick in the macrame or beaded shoulder bag. I miss my old pocketbooks.
And peacock-feather earrings. I still have mine. I just lost the pierced ear somewhere along the way. (Neglect. Although I repunched the holes several times simply by forcing in an earring.)

playing racko, mouse trap, The song the Love shack was a hit don't ask me why bluck.... when MTV actually only played music videos...... getting on a school bus that had an actual handle you had to pull lol not just push a button.....Bmx bikes were the bomb...you could still use an 8 track tape and reel to reel oh wow i need to stop II am sounding really old.... OHHhhh and those cassest tape books like star wars etc...that read the stories for you
