I saw another thread called. "Is he interested, or is he just being a friendly gentleman." Which inspired this thread. So here goes. this is the male version. True story.

Not going to get into all the minor details. But I talked to this chick in class right. She seemed vurrry interested. I put the mack down. Then told her to give me a call after shes back from the spring break vacation so we can have coffee. Well next class, she came in late. I waved at her and she waved back. But this time she acts indifferent towards me. And she also acts uninterested in talking to me.


wuah wuah wuaaaaaaaaaaaaaah


So the same way she comes in late, she leaves early. Ladies. Did she lose interest that quick. Women can be puzzles. Or do I still have a chance. I think I need to dress really nice next class. And make my voice deeper and more masculine to entice her into my manly web of manliness. So she will get caught in the web and cant get out. Then she will be my prey.

She didn't call me either. Is this some kind of trickery. Or does she just get bored of new guys that easily.

Exactly. I did not want to call her because a lot of women don't pick up the phone or answer texts in Memphis when you call them. So I assumed that if a woman calls me, then you will know for sure that she is most likely interested. And I wont waste my time calling someone that is not really interested in the first place.

I can't speak for all women, but this type of approach wouldn't resonate with me.

This is just me, but since you have her number, why not text her and see how she's doing, then ask her to coffee?

I can only speak for myself but I actually wouldn't know if I'm interested in someone or not via just drive-by waving's or hello's in class.

I'd have to actually get a chance to talk to someone a bit first... and if someone asks for my number, then I guess I'd just naturally kind of think that maybe he'd ask for a chance for us to talk sometime...

In other words, I'm not going to pursue or chase after someone who just asks for my number and doesn't do anything further to communicate, but maybe that's just me.

You also said she acted completely indifferent once she got back from spring break. It's totally possible she could have met someone during that time, or got back together with an old flame.

For those that don't know, what do you call somebody from Memphis who's on Mars? "Somebody from Memphis", that's what you call them. And apparently you don't call them at all, so....

We talked for about 6-8 minutes before I gave her my number. She seemed interested. But maybe I was hallurcinating.

If I see any dating sites based in the Memphis area... I shall know to steer clear!

No wonder I'm single. I'm going to have to get a map and start crossing off areas that are geographically known to be hazardous to the dating community...

If she did run into an old flame or a new guy it was quick. She acted indifferent 2 days later after we talked.

I think I'm going to tell her I'm old fashioned. Then get her fathers phone number. Then ask him if I can buy her with a goat.
