Ok so in January I went through a pretty rough break-up. Since then I've really healed and am starting to like a new guy and feel im pursuing it the right way this time... God has been so good, but today something kind of strange came up and I dont know how to deal with it. Since my break-up i have seen my ex three times. They were all friendly but not very social, the most recent was two fridays ago. Well apparently he recently got a job, and I got a call from someone at his work today because my ex had given me a recommendation for some of the job openings they have. I dont know if I should talk to him and say thank you ( i mean i cant tak ehte job...cause of my othe r job, but it was still a nice thought) or if its ok not to talk to him...does anyone have any advice?

I think it would be o.k. to say thanks to him. You're just being civil, afterall. =D

If it was me, and it was a really bad break up i would stay away from him. I understand it would just be saying Thank you, but you dont wanna open any doors for conversation.

It's tough though cause I can't avoid him. I know that much already we are involved in the same youth group, and I also realized with that I did nothing wrong. If anyone should be avoidng someone he should be avoiding me.

I wouldnt bother thanking him because 1) u didnt ask him to recommend you and 2) it sounds like u r better off avoiding him as much as possible. He might not even know that they called you.

I would just let this one go by-if the breakup was that traumatic then he may just be trying to get close to you again..or trying to keep tabs on you...prayer will help you and I will pray for you both too..
