Concerning this same matter, in Matthew 19:12, Jesus said that some are born eunuchs... bottom line is, if one has the grace to remain single and chaste, let them do so. But it is far better to marry than to burn with lust

I think that you have taken a step in the right direction. I would say that people desire deep connections with their life partners at multiple levels: intellectual, spiritual, romantic and on the level of physical attraction. That explains why there are so many people in the world and yet almost everyone seems to be complaining of loneliness. Each one struggles and hopes to find their varied preferences in a single individual. Anyway, I have found that people can only get to know you and decide how intimate they are willing to become with you, after you have come out in the open and done things that reflect your convictions and patterns of thought, basically declaring what the contents of your mind and character are. That is in fact, one of the reasons i registered on this site. I will tell you what i told myself. "Get out in the middle of the waters and swim as much as you can, then the fisher that wants your kind of fish will simply come get you"

Ahhh Karaboo22.Im hearing you sister!
Try mid 30's and suddenly single!
Its a real head, heart, soul and body challenge.
The idea of doing life without a partner to share the highs n lows is a hard one.
Guess we need to keep waiting , praying and living life in the meantime and be open to who may cross our path.
Also think theres prob a time to be proactive in addition to prayer.
Totally get that heart desire I do , don't forget your first love though.Hey keep us posted.
