No I've made my choice, it's her or singleness.

(Singleness here I come)
Seems to me you're telling God what is best for you, and if you can't have your way you're going to pout for the rest of your life.

It reminds me of the country western song several years ago: "Thank God for Unanswered Prayer"

I was 43 when I met my wife. It's not too late for God to bring the right one along. But I suspect He wants you to give up your obsession with the one you currently are focused on.

I've made my choice regarding automobiles; I want a Ferrari convertible, but I can't obtain one so I drive a Jeep Wrangler and am very happy.

I didn't settle; I understand there are aspects of a Jeep that are equal to a Ferrari, and what my Jeep lacks, it makes up for it in different ways.

I go off-roading in my Jeep. Try that in a sports car and you'll destroy your car. Same thing with women; each have a gift unlike any other.

You suspect, I'll need more than that to even meditate on.

Interesting analogy.

Why don't you give her another chance? Maybe she thought you were not being serious. Just be subtle in your approach next time. Subtle as a chainsaw...
No, I need another chance. I screwed up the first one, anyway what's with the jesting?

I invite you to spend a day or two fasting and praying specifically about your interest in this woman. Ask God to make His will clear to both of you. If it is God's will for you to be together that might be what He wants from you before bringing her to you. It may also be that He makes it clear that He has other plans for you other than this woman.

No matter what, spending a couple of days dedicated to God's will while fasting will only benefit you. I pray that it will be the breakthrough that you need, whatever that breakthrough might be. I pray God will give you the wisdom and personal insight you need to resolve this issue for God's glory and honor.

P.S. Focus on getting to know Jesus better. Trust Him to walk through this with you and to give you the peace of mind and heart He wants you to have.

In John Deere green
On a hot summer night
He wrote "Billy Bob loves Charlene"
In letters three foot high
And the whole town said
The fool should have used red
But it looked good to Charlene
In John Deere gree
I actually know what John Deere green is. I had to use their logo on some promotional stuff we made for them in a former job of mine.....
Now you'll all know what John Deere green is....

Just want the best for you, my brother. I truly pray God's will is that you're with the woman of your dreams. Stay faithful and prayerful.
That's interesting, because last night I dreamed about her.

Does anyone know what the cure to being love sick is?
Yes, quit making idols out of women and return to your first love... Jesus Christ!

She's obviously not right for you so move on and quit lusting

Matthew 5:28

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

There is a love I have for Jesus and a different love I have for her, I can't exactly love Jesus the way I love this woman.

Yeah, sounds like you have a lust problem... no woman is worth interfering with your relationship with the Lord.

Why no cast your care upon the Lord, leave it in His hands, quitting stressing and thinking about it, quit posting on talkboards about it to see what others think, and move on with your life?

Well, she's my soul mate. ...
Since you believe in soul mates, you can't possibly believe there is only one soul mate for you on this entire earth, right? God doesn't work like that. He gives us so many chances in our lives to learn from our mistakes and to grow. You have been dreaming about this woman for years. That's years of not connecting with others, because you keep allowing your brain to dwell on this dream woman. You let it consume you. You have imagined a life with her, but it is not real! You have allowed yourself to become obsessed with your dream of her. It is an unhealthy craving. Even if you won her over at this point, she would never live up to the expectations you have imagined about her. Women are to be cherished, not idolized. You cannot truly cherish a woman until you know her and establish a solid relationship with her. If I were in your situation, I would research how to break the habit of thinking about her, change my thoughts toward a happier and more productive life, focus more on God, and pray for someone who is right for me to enter my life.
----
When properly directed, zeal/passion is wonderful (Titus 2:14), but when it is misguided, it becomes a destructive, addictive distraction (Romans 10:2).

I'd take her even if she lived in a dumpster :)

This needs to be reposted but with paragraphs.
