Pleez wait for the poll..

Which social media networks do you use? (facebook, twitter, etc...)
Just a curious survey to see what social networks people are using and not using..

It's an anonymous poll so no one will see this and start trying to find you on those sites..

I have Line and WhatsApp as well.. I have others but rarely use it.. nothing is too much right :p

My fave is Facebook.. especially when someone doing live video on group (live baking or live soap making video) i can waste my time there :p

I want to design a social media platform for anti-social folks, but what would be the point?

We could tell each other what places are crowded so the others can manage to stay away from people?

Doesn't FaceTime count? It is very sociable! And it seems like I use it almost daily! Today was a 1 1/2 hour call to Hong Kong to talk to the grandkids! And free, too!

I have this account on a really cool social media...

It's called "What is this? I don't even...". Try it. It's great.

There are so many... just SO MANY!

There are so many that some people get confused.

But ultimately one triumphs over all the others.

CC is about the extent of my social social media. Though skype and google hangouts come in handy for calling friends who live on the other side of the world. Let's just say that if a potential employer tries to look me up online, they're going to come to the conclusion that I virtually don't exist (hopefully that's a point in my favor so that they know I'm not going to be tempted to waste work time on social media instead of doing my job).

Now, only 3. Facebook, youtube and google plus out of the list you gave.

This site is also a social media site, and I don't use google plus very often, just something occasional when I am bored. I used to be on many more social media apps though. I used to have whatsapp, kik, twitter, instagram, Pinterest, tumblr, me too but deleted all because I got bored. I never bothered with snapchat, I know it's really popular but I never got it and never used it.

Whatsapp ... it's brilliant! My parents and I tend to communicate in pictures :p and it's cheaper than MMS

Facebook - Mostly to stay in touch with people all over the world without always logging on to CC , but also to stay in touch with family and school friends. That being said, if I don't really like Facebook, even though I use it :p

LinkedIn .... in the vague hope of getting a job by chance :p

I had a mySpace account at some point ... dunno if myspace still exists?

I chose...

Facebook - probably use this the most of all of them
Twitter - use it rarely and only ever for laughs or fantasy football news
Instagram - check it maybe once a day
Pinterest - use it maybe once every couple of months
Youtube - use it often for all sorts of different reasons (most recently to learn how to clean fish)

I have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Kik, Skype, Snapchat... I think that's it. I probably use YouTube and Twitter the most, but I don't really post that much on any of them. I'm not as active on social media as I used to be.

Like some of the others here, I've pretty much been anti-social towards social media from the get-go and continue to shun it in most forms. I think it can be an awesome way to keep in touch with people but how many folks do you know who are in huge fights with even the people they love over some kind of social media drama?

"You didn't like any of my new posts last night!"

"Oh yeah? Well I saw on your page that you had shrimp for dinner, and you know I'm allergic to shrimp!"

"But I didn't even have you over for dinner!"

"Oh, I know you were just HOPING I'd stop over so you could try to offer me shrimp on purpose, knowing full well that I'm allergic!"

I literally hear stories like this all the time, and this is just me personally, but I think it's an insane waste of time (for myself, at least--now if someone else finds it to be a useful outlet that they find beneficial, then I say go for it!! :))

But I simply don't have the energy (or ability) to make my life sound nearly exciting enough to present every aspect of my day on 8 different sites at a time. I mean, who cares that I just ate a bowl of oatmeal five minutes ago?

I don't get too hung up on what people may or may not say without me there, unless it's my close friends and family and I know they're going through something and need me. And it's certainly not because I think I'm any better--maybe it's just plain apathy, combined with a good dose of laziness! :p I can't change people's minds, and I can't compete with all the glamour and glitz so many others try to make their lives out to be (in front of a camera, at least), so there are just so many other things I'd rather be doing. Bantering with folks on CC :), email, and one outlet for chatting with friends is the extent of my online presence.

Now, I must also admit that I'm usually the last to know what's going on. But I figure, I've lived my whole life like that and haven't died for lack of information--yet. :p

The best part is that I can keep my life to myself (if I'm seeing someone and it doesn't work out, I can talk to only the people I choose about it and not have to face a zillion questions), and I know the people who keep in touch with me are sincere, because it takes some extra effort from both parties.
