I couldn't help but laugh about your above comment. Hopefully, you will meet that girl.
If this was directed at me because of the teenage daughters thing, than thankyou. I hope so as well, for my sanity and happiness.

Just let faith be your guide. Trust that God will do right by everyone and dont focus on the bad. We all love you here and care about you and if you ever need to talk I am here. You always have friends and thats what matters. But just take a deep breathe and go on with life just being you and being happy and helping others the best that you can!

So I have been alone now for over 3 months. I am to a point where most of the time I am ok. I work two jobs, and am raising my 3 kids by myself (my ex completely abandoned us all), so I am fairly busy. I talk to freinds, have been getting counseling (from a Godly man) and am moving forward as best I can.

My problem is late at night or early mornings. During the day it is easy to be alright, but when I am completely isolated that lonliness is really hard. I can't call anyone really (I am talking early am times here) or text. So I try reading, praying, listening to music. Anything to just get my mind from thinking. For anyone else who is dealing with this, how do you cope with these times?
i live alone, have for 5 years now. I cant relate as to raising 3 children alone, that must be tough yet, also keeps your mind busy part of the time and im sure offers alot of Joy also. i was very Lonely for the first year almost every night, and day really when i wasnt working, i find that prayer and Gods word on a regular basis, asking God to offer wisdom ( james 1:5) helps so much, and really offers an inner peace and i honestly cant remember the last time i felt Lonely. the More time we spend with God, the more we become aware that we are never alone.

God bless you, i hope you find good answers to your dillemna :)

Hi are these feeling of loneliness linked to the absense of you ex who you say had abandoned you all?As you are busy during the day you are forfilled by the activities during the day and there is that relational dynamic ect and it's interesting that the times when you experience the loneliness is at those key times (early morning and late at night) which you may not had felt when you had you ex partner in your life. You might still be grieving in terms of their absence in your lives and with gods help in time will improve with his divine help.
Those feelings of loneliness can be really crushing at those times and it must be a daily struggle to get through those key moments. You are doing all the right things though to cope and I am sure it gives you relief but only temporal.Have you brought this up within the counselling sessions as there could be underlying emotions that with gods help need praying through?
I have had a similar experience and felt lonely in the evenings when I was alone and just sat there holding my pillow and other times I would just east the house down daily!!!Yet with gods help I realised I was actually missing the presence of an ex partner who I had broken up with and I was comfort eating to compensate!!
In time this did improve once god helped me come to terms with the root cause and the feeling of loneliness didn't go straightaway, but in time things did improve!
So I hope this has helped you in someway !!
On a practical level, most early mornings and late nights there's not many options you have as the kids are in bed and there is no one to keep you company. However watching sermons on line will also help build you up emotionally and you can just search for preaching topics online that are to do with issues of isolation and loneliness and the subconscious affects of recovering from the break up of a relationship!
yet I pray that god guides you through this difficult time and grant you the breakthrough you really need!!!
