Does anyone else just get really down about being single? I'm almost 30 and have been single for 3 years, and it isn't for lack of trying. I have dated many people and it never evolves into more. I am beginning to believe that I will never find anyone to marry, and that devastates me :( I don't know what I'm doing wrong or why it seems no one wants me...just feeling so alone right now and miserable...

One thing I learned in the last year is to let go and to let God. Give this to God and remember there is a purpose in having you be single....enjoy it :)

Example: I always wanted to have a large family, but my female doctor as well as emergency room docs said that I may never be able to have children. At first I was devastated, but quickly realized God is in control and I gave it to him. I have never been happier and I know the same will happen for you IF you hand over your anxiety to the one who created you.

Enjoy not having to worry about having a husband and kids because trust me once you have them, you will miss being single :)

Miss Kayanne. My opinion is that there are 2 factors when finding a person to date.
1. Yoke
2. Compatibility

I hope this information is helpful.

Are you kidding , being single is great! Enjoy your life to the fullest, marriage does not need to define who you are the rest of your life.

It's better to be single than to be in a wrong relationship - one that could be mediocre, pathetic, boring, insipid and settling for less.

When I was younger, I felt so alone being single. I thought no one would ever love me. I would avoid church in February because of the marriage sermons. Now 12 years later, I'm divorced, and I think the memories of single loneliness, makes it that much worse. The only bright side is, God gave me a wonderful wife when I needed one back then, so I'm sure he will have something wonderful for me soon.

I get the feeling. I'm 25, never dated. Never even had a chance to ask girls out, usually due to not being around people which in turn was due to bad circumstances. Honestly I want a wife, really bad.

But I'd rather be single than have a bad relationship... So I just wait.

I had gone on dates up until your age, nothing steady or serious until my wife.

When I say dates, I mean 1 or 2 with the same girl until it fell apart. Don't worry about it.

If you have been born again and filled with the Holy Spirit... you ain't single!

been single since 17
Wow! You got divorced when you were 17???

How old were you when you got married?

God gave me a wonderful wife
According to God's Word... your first wife would have to pass away before you can get married again without it being adultery.

If God was the One that gave you a wonderful wife, why not reconcile since that would mean you were both Christians right?

We know God would not lead anyone to marry and unbeliever since that goes against God's Word.
