Definitely with pizza, I cant eat pizza without soda. Its the best combo : p

On its own, I like drinking it from a glass with ice in it, especially during summer. Coming home from a hot day of work, its something to look forward to : p

I avoid sugar free as it causes issues. But the artificial sugars are poisons in mild quantities. It is because they are diluted in the drink they can be used.
Symptoms of artificial sugars like aspartame, saccarine etc are usually in the form of swelling. Closing of the throat, weight gain due to swelling etc.

Recently I have been buying sparkling water in cans and using that to make my own special (odd) version of carbonated drinks. Take one can of that sparkling water over ice, add a couple of tablespoons of the concentrated fruit vinegars I make, and it makes for a very tasty drink...or at least I think it does.

Ooh. I used to make an interesting drink with clear cheap lemonade, a sprinkle of coffee and some ordinary house hold vinegar. (Malt vinegar?)
Each person who tried it who didn't know what it was said it was apple flavoured fizzy drink.

You need to make your quizzed multiple reply

In a glass, with a few ice cubes, outdoors (if it's warm enough that is).
I don't drink soda very often though. Most of the time I find plain mineral water to be better
(then I get my sugar from chocolate in stead :p)

I have not been much of a pop drinker for most of my life, but a couple of years ago I got slightly hooked on Fresca after having some at my pastor's house; that faux grapefruit fizzy flavor was just so refreshing, but honestly, two cans of that and my body would start feeling a bit edgy and go into detox mode due to the aspartame, which was not a pleasant experience at all. This year a couple of weeks ago I started craving a fizzy drink, and happened upon a really good sale of Zevia, so I stocked up on Grape, Ginger Ale, Lemon/Lime, and Orange flavors. Orange is not to my liking, but cold and straight from the can on a hot day, who can complain? I drank all the grape first :D I have not yet tried the Lemon/Lime :) When my daughter and I eat at the Dairy Queen, we often have burgers accompanied by mugs of icy root beer :D

Magenta - have you tried the Zevia root beer? It's amazing! Many don't like the cactus aftertaste of stevia, but I do...however it's barely noticeable in the root beer.

As for the poll: I like a good whiskey/ginger ale. Didn't see that as an option. :)

I like my soda with a shot of cream. Cream and dr. pepper is almost as good as a root beer float, and you can get it at McDonald's where they have real cream for their coffee.

I will have to try it :) When I first saw the sale, there was root beer available, but the stock was low for many of the flavors and wiped out for some. That is why I bought such a variety :D I was back in the same store a couple of days later and checked to see if they had restocked and if the sale was still on, but the price had gone up and the stock was still low. However, on your recommendation, I will try the root beer :) I will let you know when, and how I like it :D Thank you!

PS~ I had never had Zevia before, but I use stevia in my coffee at work every day :D CatHerder, you mentioned the cactus aftertaste of stevia? Many years ago when I first started using stevia, I noticed an after taste, which was licorice-like to me. I did not mind it, though, and probably don't even really notice it any more. Perhaps the coffee overpowers the taste of the stevia itself. I do recall, though, that I had been led to believe that stevia had no after taste at all, so I realized there was a bit of false advertising, maybe, in the promotion of it as a product :p

I might actually try this.... Well, if I can convince them to give me cream- love Dr.pepper!

ok listen closely I buy the soda, preferably root beer if not that then mountain dew,I go home,I put the soda in the fridge,I play a video game(usually strategy style games) til the soda gets cold(or skip waiting by buying a big bag of ice)I get the soda out of the fridge,I get comfortable, then I take off the cap,and drink the soda by way of my mouth without the soda touching my teeth, and that is my way of drinking soda, not too complicated.
