No. Absolutely not. My Mother was a psycho. She treated everyone in her life like dirt, was emotionally volatile, and was not suited for any relationship with anyone for any reason.

I turned out exactly like her. She was, most unfortunately, the only role model I had growing up.

No way I could marry a woman like her. It would result in homicide.

No. My father was selfish, self-centered and self-serving and destroyed our family for the gain of money.

My husband is the complete opposite and I believe God blessed me with him to show that there were truly "good" men in this world, because as a child, my father was the only male role model I'd had a chance to experience.

My mom is pretty no BS. Sweet when she needs to be. Laughs a lot. That's her personality in a nutshell. My sister is the same.

I don't know how to live with any other type of woman.

There are some characteristics that I love about my mother and others, not so much!

Things I do like about her are:
She is giving and kind to a fault. I'm not kidding about this either.

She makes friends with ANYONE. (Flashback to 4 years ago when I visited her place and she invited a homeless lady she made friends with to live with her for a weeks lol)

She takes unconditional love to another level.

She is super resilient.

She knows how to raise a child right (*points to self as a good example*)

Things I don't like:
She has a fiery personality that can be WAYYY too much at times.

She's a borderline hoarder. 'Nuff said.

She routinely takes on more than she can handle at times and ends up finishing little of it.

She puts others before herself far too often.

She's too eccentric for my taste.

She is bad with money. (She makes an amazing living but I honestly just don't know where it goes. Maybe she's been funneling her wages to a Nigerian scammer for the past decade? I should probably seriously look into this.)

does the good out weigh the negative?
