On the last day of school my elementary teachers would give us homework for fun. This usually consisted of handouts and paper activities from the past school year. Each student was able to take some home if they wanted to. I would use them to play "teacher" with my younger brother. He didn't like this very much.

I thought I would give my game another shot on here. I know some of us like to learn. I thought we could play by asking a question about any subject we're interested in and then anyone who knows the answer can answer it. Then that person asks a question. I think it'll be fun and we'll learn too. If you don't know the answer, look it up and learn...then come and answer the question.

I'll start.

What were the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World?

Lol I am not going to answer the question because I don't know what it is :p

But I wanted to say I am so thankful I wasn't the only one who did this, but instead of using my sibling I would use my stuffed animals, but it became a challenge because they never answered the question.....apparently they didn't know the answer either

There's an 8th wonder of the world growing in my garden. A patch of
begonias that should be trailing on the ground are over a foot high, with
leaves the size of dinner plates. :D

Tickets to see cost £200!

I like this! My brother and I played school too. He's older, so I was usually the student.

Question - Does Kombucha really work? Or is it just another expensive fad? I've been wondering about it.

Kombucha works as hard as the stereotypical millenial; so, yes, it's an expensive fad.

What distinguishes the usage of "that" from "which"?

When he said "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?" (God never really abandoned him)
(Matt. 27:46 NLT)

Ok, next question...

Why can't planes run the air conditioner when they are delayed a long time for takeoff at an airport?

Hi Zero, there are two camps of thought on this:

1. Jesus actually was "forsaken" becoming sin himself... For the first time in eternity God was alone.

2. Jesus was quoting scripture (Psalms).

Because it would affect their batteries?

(Aren't we supposed to answer the quesiton above before asking a new one?)

That's true enough, but in that verse He was not openly speaking to someone, telling them something that was not true.

Sorry, that's not the answer... and I did. I even answered two of them.

Ok, no ones probably going to get the answer so here it is...

Its because a plane has to keep its engines running for the AC to run and that uses up fuel, and planes only load as much fuel as they need for each flight.... So they would have to go back to the gate and refuel after a long wait on a taxiway, and that would be very cost-prohibitive.

But God is someone..

The real error in my answer is that Jesus didn't make a statement... he was asking a question.

Jesus felt forsaken by his heavenly Father because God had to turn his back on his son because of our sins that Jesus took on him...all the sins of the whole world, past or present. So, for that moment God had to forsake him for us, but just for that moment.
