Ok, I guess the rules scared people away last time. No rules this time.

Die Hard series
Terminator (original and T2 only)

Harold & Kumar go to White Castle (original only)
Full Metal Jacket
Apocalypse Now
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly (Clint Eastwood)
Magnum Force
Star Wars original trilogy (SW, return of jedi, empire strikes back)
Captain America (original only)
The Notebook
40 Year Old Virgin

Least Favorites:

District 9
Mulholland Drive (just one big "HUH?")
Deadpool (was just disappointing to me - sorry all you Ryan Reynolds fans)

I really like Lord of the Rings. Specifically, The Return of the King.

I didn't like Deadpool either...bc of Ryan being in it.
And I think all of the Star Wars movies are great. Of course the original three are the best.

District 9 was very ... unusual. I remember very little of it...but for an alien movie I think it was realistic. Humans will always treat outsiders badly

Generally speaking, I can't stand Christopher Nolan films.

He's one of those guys who tries too hard to be brainy.

I’ve always liked movies where there was a huge adversity to overcome, and yet, it was overcome. Some titles would include The Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, Gladiator, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Last of the Mohicans, etc.

Was basically forced to watch the movie Lost in Translation and hated it.

Some of my favorites:

DUNE
The Shawshank Redemption
Contact
The Usual Suspects
Conan the Barbarian
Love Actually
Murphy's Romance
Blazing Saddles
Avatar
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
The Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum
RED
For Your Eyes Only
The Spy Who Loved Me

Some of my least favorites:

...too many to list. Most of the time, if a movie is popular, or an award winner, I won't like it. So many of the award winning movies are just arduous to try and watch. I don't like rom-coms for the most part, dislike horror films, think most sci-fi is a joke, dislike action shoot-em-ups, am not interested in "true" stories, and can't get excited about very many sequels of sequels of sequels.

Worst:
Meet Joe Black (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING!!!)

I know it's just an opinion but I was slightly offended because Meet Joe Black is in my top 5, especially the last scene where 'What A Wonderful World' is flowing in the background - if we were friends, unfriending you would have crossed my mind.

My taste in movies and music is banal to say the least. You DID say favorite movies you've seen, and not the best movies you've seen- so don't judge me too harshly. :(

Favorites
Penny Serenade
The Secret Garden (1993)
Bright Star
Some Like it Hot (I laugh EVERY time).
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
It Happened One Night

It's kind of hard for me to think of any least favorites, as I tend to not watch movies I don't think I will like.

I actually liked Joe Black too, but I know a lot of people don't like it for some reason..
