A few years back the Singles just started a Skype chat group. No cost. No worrying who can and cannot get in. Around the same approximate time every night people would log in.
They started in the Singles chat, before the subs. But found people from the Lounge started invading and talking over the room. That's why they switched to Skype.

Thank you Ugly. I figured it would be, but that's one of those things you want to ascertain anyway. Mostly because it's disconcerting to take something like that for granted until you need it, and find it's not there.

I am looking forward to get out of the lounge to over "own" room. It was too noisy there tonight. And. Well. It took me much courage to take the mic yesterday. And when it get's noisy I just stay quiet. And I like to know people....

And. For the record. I am Andrea. So you don't need to be stressed by trying to pronounce toinena, that is just a private joke mixing Finnish and Norwegian.

Oh! That is too, too bad. She was here a long time, like from years past. Did she say why? Does anyone know? Kilden is a great poster. Hopefully, she just left because she has things going on in real life and not because anyone upset her.

I think it might be too complicated, the chat room just for singles. Perhaps open it up to whoever wants to chat. After all, many of the people who post in Singles aren't single. I missed it as I have been working late last night and spending time with my mother tonight, so by the time I get a chance to chat, no one will be available, lol.

I was thinking about it, I don't know if anyone will understand my accent, as it is so thick. It may be incomprehensible.

I'm quite sad about Kilden leaving. I enjoyed all her posts. But maybe she is busy in real life.

I thought you and I were already friends, lol. :) Of course I accepted your request! Anyone who loves rabbit island is my friend already.

Maybe I'm not as scrupulous as I ought to be, but I consider anyone not married as single. Since you are dating, you are technically single. That's my opinion, though. Thanks for the heads up about Kilden. I'll find her post and reply.

Me too. I think this is a great idea. But I still hope it will not be too noisy, and that we can speak freely. If too many people take over like in the lounge, I would have problems (not that I not already have that) grabbing the mic.

In other news, I have noticed a tendency for people to meet up one night, and then let it go. We never meet the next night, or the night after that, or...

The chat we had last Thursday night, I could do with having every night. Just saying.

I dropped in to see if it was people there on Friday, but only the faithful Feline was there. For me, it would be good if it was a fixed day a week, because it is kind of in the middle of my sleeping time, so I have to schedule it. I favor Thursday or Friday. And I think it is good if we are atleast five that are commited to show up, so that the conversation keeps going.
