Bearing in mind the discussion going on in the "Ship, Ship, Horaay!" thread, I have started a GoFundMe for covering chat room costs and helping others here pay for subscriptions. And I just realized that I may not be allowed to post this since technically it's asking for money. I'm not sure. Mods?

And, if you would like to have a subscription but don't have the cheddar to cover yourself, please post in this thread and ask for one. To prevent people from coming in and just asking for stuff, I'm going to require that you have a positive rep in the forums that indicates other members have taken notice of you in a good light.

Any money that exceeds what we need at the current moment will be kept in "escrow" until we need it. I'd like to be able to use excesses to address financial needs of members here. Being able to give to help each other is biblical, and I'm quite happy to have the opportunity for that. And if you have any questions about my personal accountability in this matter, I'd love for you guys to nominate someone you trust to help oversee the fund.

How embarrassing. Well, we could still use the fund for subscriptions and actual needs.

Yeah, sorry about that. Robo was talking about it last night in chat but I didn't expect we would be making plans around it this soon. I would have mentioned all the information Robo said this morning before I left for work.
