Hey Everyone,

I know this is a question that's been asked plenty of times, so let's give it a twist.

What would your ideal date be if YOU were paying for it, and what would it be for the following prices levels? (I'm not going going to list specific monetary ranges because the definitions will be different for everyone.)

So, what would your ideal date be for:

* The "Economy", Budget-Conscious Range.

* The "Middle", "Standard Range.

* No Holds Barred!! The Sky is the Limit!

I'll go first:

* Economy: picnic at the beach at sunset or fast food and rented movies.

* Middle: standard "dinner and a movie" at a table-service restaurant (Olive Garden? Depends on what he likes,) and movie at the theater.

What can I say. I'm a sucker for the classics. :) Or maybe an art museum... cultural event... Something we'd both be interested in.

* Money is No Object: a major theme park such as Disney, Universal Studios (the Spider-Man and Transformer rides are stupendous), Cedar Point, or Six Flags. Or... whatever he was into. Though... I have to admit I might have to pinch myself to stay awake during something like a Monster Truck Rally. :rolleyes: However, I would try my best. :D

The company would matter to me most... But a cool, kickin' event wouldn't hurt. :D

So... what do you all think?

What would be your ideal dates?

My ideal date would be that the date showed up....

Besides that:
Low budget: Picnic at my favorite thinking spot in front of a Medieval church (Tingelstad gamle kirke) with a beautiful view over the Randsfjorden. gamle tingelstad kirke.jpg
Mid budget: A cruise on the steam boat Skibladner on the lake Mjøsa eating strawberries and watching the beautiful landscape. Skibladner.jpg
No limits budget: A Trans-Atlantic cruise with umbrella drinks on the sun-deck. Separate cabins, of course. No reason rushing into things.

For most people here, the two first options will be quite costly too, but I can offer affordable lodging through Airbnb if that helps.

I always offer to pay my own way. Guys--NOT all women are out for your money.

And the right guy is well worth it. :)

I used to live about 90 minutes from Disney, and a guy from my church group took me to an awesome Irish restaurant in the Disney shopping area. It was beautiful, and he insisted on paying.

So the next time we went to Disney, and actually got to go to a park, I'd already paid for his ticket advance to help even out the score. :) Yeah, he was pretty shocked.

And it was well. worth. every. penny.

If a guy takes me to a football game we're breaking up lol
My last bf played rugby (which is how I got into it) And he hated football which was probably the best part of him xD

NOPE! I already pick bad enough guys
No way I'm making the mistake of picking one who likes football and never one who plays football unless he's going to the NFL because we'll be rich xD

I would have gladly taken you to a symphonic concert. Not sure if I would call it a date, though. I am more into symphonies than women.

I've only been to one Symphony and I adored it
I would love so much if I got to go to one again.

Next time I will go overseas I will take you to one. Are you available the summer of 2022?
Yes!!! I don't know where I'll be but I would totally meet you to go to a Symphony!
