Sitting behind the screen, being caught up in a funny thread, or getting irritated by another, inspired by some, it is easy to just type out everything that comes to my mind without giving God a thought. I know I should be better in giving everything to God, also the time I spend here on CC. Does anyone else have thoughts about this? I think if we were more prayerful in what we post, CC would be a more loving place (I didn't even dare to post this in the BDF.....)

I don't pray before I post, but I definitely put a lot of consideration into each of my posts. What I mean is I do not post unless I feel compelled to post (which is why I don't have many). For example, sometimes I read a post and there is no reaction, but other times I get this feeling that I just have to reply. Is that the holy spirit encouraging me? I don't know. What I do know however is that even though I do not pray before posting, there is something at work within me that I can feel when I do post, and even though I don't deliberately stop and pray, I do believe the holy spirit guides my thoughts and responses.

Interesting question.

Sometimes I do, it depends on what I am replying to.

Often I also start to type then feel it's not right or it's just best to forget it, so I delete
it before I post the reply.

If its just general chit chat then I don't, it would be a very slow conversation to
pray before uttering every sentence either in real life or digitially. But there again
I suppose life might be quieter. Lol

Depends what I'm posting. If I mention in the Streams thread that I ate three pickled eggs for breakfast, no I don't bother praying about it first. If it's something that might make people mad, I definitely pray about it first. Anything in between those two extremes, maybe, maybe not, depending on what it is.

One thing about being a Christian, if you're about to do something wrong you'll get an "uh-oh" feeling. If you get that feeling, like God is trying to get you to stop whatever it is, you definitely need to pray about it until you nail down what exactly is wrong with this. Remember what the Bible said, about God will write His law in His people's hearts? That works.

Also there are some things you don't have to pray about because they are in the Bible. I don't have to ask God if it's okay to steal something from work, and I don't have to pray about whether I can blatantly insult somebody on a forum thread.

Well... that was a long way of saying "Sometimes I pray about it, sometimes I don't." :-/

Did I pray about it before I made this post? Nope.

I don't really see the point if it's short and harmless, though I sometimes do when I'm posting posts in huge chunks that together can take up half the page, though that's EXTREMELY rare of me to do so, and I might when I'm posting something rather controversial, sensitive or personal.

Any time I'm posting something that I think might be badly received, or could be misconstrued, yes. And when I'm giving advice, yes. And when I'm posting a new thread, yes. Beyond that, I not very good at it.
