Sometimes we can be so blinded by disappointment that we can't see Jesus walking with us through our heartache; leading us to something better ahead. That's when we must determine to push through the cloud of despair with a resilient trust and a stubborn refusal to let go of His promise to always be with us. And when that promise sinks into the depths of our soul, a joyful confidence rises up inside us, because we know, where His presence is, there is peace, joy and freedom. And as we yield to that truth, we remember that in Christ, nothing is impossible, and that God has made a way for us that leads far beyond disappointment.

I once heard someone at work say, "expect less and that way you are never disappointed." That may be the worldly way of looking at it, yet as Magenta pointed out: :):):)
