Every single one of them asked for money (which is not very cool at all.)

One even wrote, "I'm looking forward to your assisting me (financially) with my education." Well, I guess there's nothing like being direct.

I haven't tried looking for new people to write to via paper letters ever since, so writing to people I actually already know a little bit about might go a bit better. Hopefully.

Do we have a stationary date? I know I am over seas. But I will not ask for your money. Only mstchmaking advice ;-)

Me too! One time I was texting my bf waiting for him to respond back so I placed my phone underneath my bra strap. Anyways, I was talking to my dad and having the most embarrassing conversation about sex and guys. I walked away from the conversation and grabbed my phone only to realize I dialed my bf and he heard the entire conversation....I was mortified :eek:

yeah it's funny alot of times in the past I would call anyone or answer a phone call and barely talk but when talking face to face I wouldn't be quiet practically,of course having something to talk about helps.

I've always thought a handwritten correspondence would be cool, alas, my handwriting is terrible. It just wouldn't be right getting a letter with thick textured cream colored paper and good penmanship only to send back out a typed letter on copy paper in MLA format. Or even worse a nice sheet of paper desecrated with my handwriting.

Same ! I'm left handed and my handwriting is atrocious. Lol
