When I'm sick I usually go for Hallmark type movies. Especially the Christmas one's around the holidays. Always makes me feel better, well that and chicken soup. :)

Taare Zameen Par, titled Like Stars on Earth internationally- indian movie about dyslexia

Some Indian films are actually good, except the singing and dancing part.

Just don't watch action movies. Trying to follow all the movement would make you even more sick.
I was playing Halo IV with a friend, doing a sketch in which the characters are running through a maze of halls with flashing lights, and I became nauseated in real life. I had to stop playing!

To the OP: As for movies when you're sick, how about the entire Star Wars saga? I think it's at about 20 hours now. Or perhaps the LoTR trilogy, extended of course, at 14 hours. The Hobbit, at about 8 hours? The entire Lost series (which I really don't recommend anyone watch, any time!)... far too many hours!

Surf YouTube. Much more variety, and you don't have to get up to change out the dvd. Okay, I'm revealing my age... I still use dvd's instead of Netflix.

Watch funny movies. They say laughter is the best medicine. I would recommend one anime I love (that makes you cry happy tears every time) but I don't think you watch anime.
Yeah, I don't. But feel free to still post it on here so someone else who does watch it can! :)

Oh yes, do I have the best movies for you!!!

- Foodfight. True cult classic, that one! The animation there is really something to behold!

- The Amazing Bulk. Wow...the spectacular acting and beautiful backgrounds are sure a masterpiece!

- Cool Cat Saves The Kids. WOW. Just...wow. The acting is among the BEST of the BEST! Very insightful about life's greatest problems too. 10/10, would recommend 10 times.

- Skelter Heaven. This is actually a 17-minute-long anime, but O-M-G. The CGI is truly, absolutely BREATHTAKING. Ouran Highschool Host Club, Attack on Titan, and Shingeki no Bahaumut? NAHHHHHH, those are just shambling piles of sludge compared to the MASTERPIECE that is Skelter Heaven!!!
