Maybe I disagree with you about which chocolate is best. I might disagree with you about how to baptize. Perhaps I think you should not put yourself down so much, or maybe I think you brag far more than you should. I may say cats are better than dogs when you're a cat hater. Or it might be that you just really can't stand a particular style of music I enjoy. Maybe you think EVERYTHING in a certain music style is solid gold, an opinion with which I would have to strongly disagree.

For some reason I disagree with you. But that doesn't mean I find you disagreeable. It doesn't mean I think you're "not a REAL christian" and it doesn't mean I hate you. It just means I don't agree with you on that point.

Please, people. This is CC Singles, not a certain other sub-forum. We can disagree with each other without being disagreeable, and I'm sure we can disagree on one point without disparaging the person with whom we differ on that one point.

If we can't, maybe we should be in that other forum.

So now that we've all agreed to disagree...

Does that mean we can't hold a big campfire where there's a weenie roast and good old-fashioned S'mores? :(

I suppose not.

After all, we'd probably disagree on how to roast the weenies. :(

There are some things that people are just flat-out wrong about, though. Like how some people think "skim milk" is milk. It's not.

I kid (sort of).

I've seen this a lot in various choices people make - "You disagree with me and that means you hate me and want to see me suffer so we can no longer be friends" Uh, no? You disagree with my disagreement, but only you're allowed to disagree with me, I can't disagree with you?

That is probably clear as mud, but bottom line - Lynx, I agree. :cool:

This is better than a TV sitcom!

At last, we finally have an ending to the biggest cliffhanger going here in Singles.

It's always great to see unfinished business (from other threads--Streams, I think?) resolved. :p

(I also have admit enjoying seeing a [worthwhile] fight from one thread roll on over to another...)
