It wouldn't stop me from dating someone either way. It would maybe be hard if they dressed extremely inappropriate. For example wearing a tuxedo to a hike or wearing a cycling kit to a formal dinner. As long as they are comfortable and not smelly it doesn't much matter.
As far as expensive or frugal clothing it doesn't matter and I might not even realize the difference.

Accent on the first and third syllable. And I am innocent of all charges of collusion. My mother always had an extensive and impressive vocabulary, and in our house we always used words that most closely fit what we were trying to express.

Every time I see the title for this thread it reminds me of a tv commercial in the 90's where this family checks into this ritzy resort and they're dressed like they're staying at a cheap motel and the concierge says to the man as he's checking in... "And is that what you'll be wearing?" The man says, "To what?" .... Concierge: "Todaaaay"
