I have a special place that gives me peace of mind. When I lived in Oslo I could drive to that spot just to pray and sort things out. Now I live very close and it is still my favourite. It is situated along the pilgrimage route to Nidaros. A small medieval stone church. When you sit there in the afternoon you see the sun set over the lake beneath. 250px-Tingelstad_old_church,_Gran.jpg

That is beautiful ^^

Like JD, my favorite spot is my bed. It's where I feel most comfortable and safe. My second favorite is on my bike.

toinena I'm reminded of a comic strip I follow called Rose is Rose. The title character, Rose, is the wife and mother in a family of three. She has a Let-Things-Be tree she likes to lean on. When life gets hectic and she feels overwhelmed she goes out and leans against her Let-Things-Be tree for a while.

I would like that tree! Here! Now! Do you think I can order it on Amazon?

BTW: I have been going to ask you something.... how is the dog collar working so far?

Oh he stays around the house, sure enough. Neighbors ain't complaining no more about trash all over their yards. It can go out to 300 yards, and that's radius, not diameter. A circle 600 yards across may not seem like a lot for an active, curious (blankety-blank busybody) australian shepherd, but it's enough to keep him in his business and out of the neighbors' business.

Here's the tree, now it's up to you to transplant it.

Next spring I will plant a "birch let things be tree"

When I am eighty I will have a tree to lean on.

And that again reminds me of Luther. He said he would plant an apple tree even if he knew the world is going to end tomorrow.

Waimea Bay, Oahu, Hawaii

If you never been, put it on your bucket list. Awesome beach, surfing, nature walk, rock jump, nature walk, and swimming by a waterfall. I think it's the most beautiful place on earth!

Wow. I think I don't have to wear my woollen long-johns there. It has now officially been put on my bucket list.
