Yeah my grandma says the same thing, except she says it about Blue Plate. Dunno if Blue Plate mayo is sold anywhere but the South, but she is rather adamant about this. Only Blue Plate is the REAL mayo for her.
yeah, stuff-mart carries it. & they're everywhere, like bacteria...

Duke's[SUP]©[/SUP] is the more prevalent brand down here tho; most 'regular' grocers don't have Blue Plate[SUP]©[/SUP].

We don't have Miracle Whip in Norway. And not Hellman's Mayonnaise. We have Mills Majones and I use the light version of it. Of course I could be a snob and say I only eat my own home made mayo, but that would be a big, fat lie.

Mayo or Miracle Whip? For what? What are we using it on? I like different things on different food items. For dipping fries I like a mix of mayo and stone-ground mustard. For a turkey sandwich you can't beat miracle whip. For a tuna sandwich mayo is better. Before I decide which is better I have to know what the food is we're using it on.
Must it be used as a food?

Stranges images entering my head again. ALARM! Please make it stop! Mayo and shrimp sandwich with a twist of lemon. That is what I would like now ( and the images got exchanged with wonderful tastes and summer and sun and perhaps a glass of white wine)

Mayonnaise. Hellman's or Duke's. Either is fine and it just depends on which is on sale at the time.

Miracle whip. Miracle whip for days : p

I eat mayo sometimes, usually when were out of miracle whip. I dont see how anyone could like it better than miracle whip, though : p I only use this kind of stuff on sandwiches, and miracle whip is easier to eat, has a better flavor and isnt as strong on your taste buds. When I eat mayo, I usually have to have it with mustard, otherwise my sandwich just taste like mayo. Its kinda like ketchup that way, too much flavor.

Miracle Whip is gross. (Imagine me gagging while I say that)

Duke’s Mayo from the Deep South is THE only way to go. Mmmm

I spread some Duke's Mayo on my turkey sandwich today. I usually eat Hellman's but wanted to give Duke's a try. Very tasty.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I was thinking "Mayo" (as in the Mayo medical clinic) vs. a "Miracle".

And so, I came in expecting this was going to be a discussion that would turn into a firestorm debate regarding modern medicine vs. a miracle from God.

I might as well just confess: I have been spending way too much time in the Bible Discussion Forum lately. *Hangs head.*

(And just to try to make my post relevant... I don't really like sloppy sauces, but if I had to pick, I would say that I definitely need a Miracle for the win!)

Yes, win (Windows) computers usually do require a miracle to remain in operation.

Sorry, I'll go back to the Linux corner now...

It doesn't really matter to me, but I prefer Miracle Whip, if you noticed read all the ingredients in both and some have the identical ingredients. The one combo sounds like a cool idea to try the ground mustard, with mayo.

For me it has to be Kraft real mayonnaise, no substitutions. It is the only one that has the taste I crave.

On a side note, if you want a really good sandwich, French’s fried onions now makes fried jalapeño chips- so good on a sandwich.
