I wish I could..... I can't even call myself a couch potato, because I never sit in a couch due to mobility issues. Miss running. Miss swimming. Miss skiing. Miss handball.

Otherwise I am could race someone in playing scales.... Lynx? Are you up to a saxophone scale race? Do we start with B major? (I will give you a grace periode to count the sharps ;-) )

I don't know what to choose. I'm a couch potato while at home but I gave up personal transportation for walking and public transportation.

I usually exercise 3-4 times a week. My workouts have been rather diminished lately due to exercise-related injuries. A torn shoulder really puts the pinch on pushups, burpees, curls, presses, and just about every other arm/shoulder/chest exercise. :(

Toi, I see all your "missing's"... and have to counter that with the fact that I am... Miss Behaving... Miss Conduct... and probably worthy of a Miss Demeanor. :)

I workout at least three times a week but I don’t consider myself an athlete. I stay active to be healthy but nothing hardcore. Unless you consider cycling for three hours at a time hardcore. Lol Other than that I go for walks with my dog, do Pilates and yoga occasionally. I also love being a couch potato. All day movie marathons are the best! :D

I've always had a love/hate relationship with exercise--I love to hate working out. And I've never had an athletic (not to mention coordinated) bone in my body, ever. I am the least athletic and least coordinated person you will ever meet. But, I try to make myself work out anyway because I'd like to travel, and that usually requires a lot of walking.

My current routine is an hour on the treadmill followed by 20-30 minutes of weight machines, ideally 3 times a week (sometimes, this plan never moves past the stage of just being an idea!), so when I get done with a workout, I usually feel fairly accomplished.

That is... until I'm around any members of my family.

My parents will say, "Oh, let's go for a short walk..." and their idea of a short walk is 3 miles... before breakfast... in the snow... uphill... both ways. Seriously. What my parents will call "a walk" always has me running just to keep up with them.

And let's not even talk about my little brother. He and I were traveling several years ago and our first train was late, putting us in serious danger of missing our second train. He told me to RUN, and when I couldn't keep up with him, he grabbed my backpack so that all I had to carry was one bag instead of two--and he was carrying 3: my backpack, HIS backpack, and his separate day pack. He was easily carrying a good 100+ pounds of gear in addition to his own body weight and I STILL couldn't keep up with him.

Needless to say, we made it to our train on time.

And for the rest of the trip, I tried to tell him that he was to be my own personal pack mule from now on. (He didn't quite agree with that.)

I suppose God made it this way to keep me humble. Every time I finish a workout, I think I'm doing ok. And then, I spend time around my family... and promptly go back to realizing that I am actually an overgrown slug. :p

My job is cooking food at Mcdonalds so I don't have to work out. My job is a good cardio routine as it is.

I am Usain bolt on the field, truck through defenders like adrian peterson on defensive backs, have adept hands with immaculate racket control like roger federer on the court, and toss 3's from half court like steph curry (while my back turns from the basket celebrating early while my shot is still in the air knowing its going in before it does..).....

yea im just teh best all around athlete  there is ....no one can stop me...I write my winner podium speeches for post-game weeks before I actually win the game because I know I'm goign to win anyway....

I work out anywhere from 3-5 times a week...

yet I’m quite curvy. I don’t consider myself an athlete. For whatever reason, my body cannot lose weight right now. So, my workout out is for the health of my heart and muscles. I do feel strong. I feel like my whole body gets a very good workout. Kickboxing workout for the WIN. It’s SO much fun. :)

My job is physical too and I get a thorough workout each shift. At home I am mostly a couch potato.

I probly walk more on a daily basis than the majority of people on this thread here.

By the time I get home, the last thing I wanna do is move my body around even more. So I spend my time off sitting in front of some kinda screen.

I was never athletic, but was always active. I used to enjoy working out.

These last 5 years since I've been caring for my Dad, I haven't been able to keep active, and my physique has gone to the dogs. I went from 170# and nicely defined to over 240# and looking like a gob of chewing gum. I hope that I can someday get back to being active doing the things I liked doing like biking, swimming, and lifting weights.
