My body is changing , i look healthy, but i am not feeling well ... i have read a lot of it, i just discover is part of what happens when you are close to 40.... i cant believe it, my mind have so many ideas and plans to live now that i am single and i can do what ever i can with my children... I know it will always be better Gods plans than mine, but i need God to give me energy:cool:, enought to go out and enjoy life as healthy i can. Are you single, getting old, with lots of plans to live free and happy? Can you giveme any advice? Thanks!! and please, if you want of course, to share a plan that you would love to do, but you havent done it.... what is stoping you from doing it? God Bless you!!!

Oh no you made me think of my age :D

I am close to 40...single,broke and no kids :)

Loneliness visits me sometimes but I know I am well under the grace of God ❤

Eat healthy, smile, love deeply and enjoy every moment God has given you... We'll never know when we are going to leave here on earth are we going to waste our time thinking about the things we can't have...? I won't... :)

Sometimes people think I don't get lonely I do...but what to do... Smiling is better than a crumpled face :D

About my plan...I plan to travel every year (I did already) since all of my siblings at least 3 0f them graduated from college already...my shoulder is quite light now... I will go Climb mountains and will travel from island to island :) in Philippines... I can't afford to travel outside Philippines :) but that's fine :) Philippines is a beautiful country ❤

When we're single we have a lot more time for certain spiritual things than when we're in a relationship.

You often hear people say this.
But it's not just a trite expression that gets thrown around churches to make lonely people feel better.
: )
It's actually true.

There are advantages and disadvantages to everything.
When you're single you don't have someone to share your life with, and you feel lonely at times, that's true.
But you also have a lot more time to do all the things you've always wanted to do,
or perhaps...
for things GOD has planned for you which you never even realized.

I certainly don't have any kind of "gift for singleness".
But if I'm single, I should get the most out of this time and experience, and make it productive.
When I'm single I can put in extremely long hours working, and STILL have a lot of time left over for Bible study, prayer, learning new things, helping old friends... all kinds of great things.

I would recommend you spend some extra time each day in prayer, Bible reading, and spiritual pursuits.
If you have children you're always going to be pretty busy, but make whatever time you can.
The more time we spend in the Bible, and in Prayer, the more easily God can teach us and direct us.

Oftentimes this is due to diet an exercise. We can get away with more when we are younger, but things we can handle around 40 start to change.
When I was young I could handle going without sleep. Now? Half the time I can't make it without a nap.
Eat better, exercise and a healthy sleep schedule. Your body requires better maintenance.

I survived turning 40, I survived turning 45 and I guess I will turn 50 and still remain single and survive that, too.

I had my 40 year's crisis, though. It lasted around one day. I had one when I turned 45. It lasted five days.

My eyesight is getting worse, but there are glasses, I have gained a few pounds, but there are bigger size clothes, and I could go on a diet. I have two wrinkles, and I pretend they will go away using an expensive moisturizer.

One way age is a blessing. One year older, one year wiser, one year closer to getting home to my Heavenly Father. Life is good, and I want to keep trying to be positive, but now I feel like I should find the rant-thread.

It looks like the sweet bird of youth has flown and the nasty little pecker of middle age has landed.
