honestly whether manga,comics,or anime it still bewilders me how anyone can draw anyone "that accurately" or even so "adorable" I can barely draw a star let alone even a person's face.

I heard the Japanese population is shrinking. They're not having enough babies. They're not pairing up. I wonder if fantasies like that have anything to do with it.

I believe it is more due to the fact that they are so engrossed with their jobs, they choose not to have kids and don't realize their mistake until it's too late. There is literally a word for "working yourself to death", a Japanese word, and that is where it happens most. But, considering they are so resistant to accepting Christianity, it may be just as well they not have kids. (Don't mean that in a mean way, but really.)

That's true. I read about that. There was a young female reporter in Japan who died because she literally worked herself to death..

Japanese reporter died after clocking 159 hours of overtime - Oct. 5, 2017

I have only seen the 2004 version, but I've been meaning to watch the older one. I don't even like musicals, but a good friend really wanted me to check it out because "it's a really good story". And it is!

Soooooo guys.

For my English class this week, I need to choose an advertisement to do some sort of "critical analysis" nonsense on. I don't have cable, so I'm actually having to online search for commercials. I would REALLY appreciate some suggestions! It has to have aired within the last month, and be promoting a product or service. So any out there that y'all found interesting or amusing?

Does it have to be a TV commercial?

I would think a print ad would be easier.

If you could do a print ad, I could see being able to inject some humor into an analysis of a perfume ad.
