Once, I had a dream about one of my friends. He is a genius and his insights have always been profound and helpful.
However during that time period I was not communicating with him regularly. So it was quite interesting to me that I had a dream about him.
In this dream, I had gone skydiving and I was floating with my back towards the earth, eyes closed. My friend was then reaching out to me and he had an oxygen mask on his face. As he flew over to me, he took out the oxygen mask from his own face and put it on me and I took deep gasps, breathing through it.
Then, it was kinda weird and felt even intimate - but we both started sharing the same oxygen mask. Once I had had my fill of oxygen, I placed it on his face and he was holding me close to his side.
When I woke up, I felt a little odd given that I wasn't really into this guy.
That same day, I received a text from him. On any other day, I would have ignored him - but having had that dream, I was intrigued. I do remember telling him, "hey, you know what I was just dreaming about you!"
Later that day, I had a huge work situation that came up out of the blue that absolutely stumped me. I had no idea how to go about solving the issue and I mentioned it to my friend as we reconnected. Not only did he know how to solve it, he patiently took time out to help me figure out how to execute the solution.
I did see the hand of God in this in a providential manner. Had I not had the dream, I would not have connected with my friend and I would not have mentioned the problem.
He had already lined up the right person to help me.
I did see the dream come true in other ways - during this time period, my friend and I got very close emotionally. We had become each other's best friends and even today, though I don't talk to him that often, I know I can trust him to always have my back.
We are on the best of terms and I have a warm regard for him. Even if we drift apart, we always come back together like there was no time or space that had passed between us.
We love and respect each other as friends and I know he can get me some oxygen when I need it.
