Being single sucks

I find it a mixed bag. I would like to get married again, but also I like some things about being single.
If it happens fine, I would welcome it, but if not, I won't lose sleep either. Been on only one date in 3 years since my wife passed, and that was set up by a friend and I did not ask him to do that. Have not joined any dating sites, I am not on social media, and rarely strike up conversation with any single woman,
So obviously I am not looking to hard...

I can't answer this question because that's my question too for almost 40 years now 
But in my opinion we will experience good days and bad days whether we are single or not...some days it sucks some days...it is better.
It sucks when you have no one to cook for and pretty sucks more when you cook and eat alone...
But it doesn't really consume my days,weeks and months... I can still say it is wonderful to be single...I am satisfied with what God has given me but it doesn't mean I don't desire someone to hold my hand in the future...I am just happy with what I've got right now...enjoying my singleness with the Lord Jesus while waiting
Sure some days I feel great being single and some days I feel that it sucks but I know where to go whenever I feel that way... in God's comfort
