The news for today is we are finally having some very cool weather
and last night was freezing - had to get up and put a T-shirt on.
Even Mitzy snuggled in on the bed for warmth.

It is grape harvesting time here in the Barossa Valley.
And the nights are noisy with the sound of mechanical harvesters
and their attending tractors and bins.
Trucks galore as they cart of their precious loads of mashed grapes
to innumerable wineries for this year's vintage.

Glad when it is all over. Some peace and quiet for a while.

Then the Barossa will make world famous wine and export millions
of bottles of shiraz and cabernet and all that to Canada which is a
major market for our wines.
Apparently Two Hands Wines are big in Canada.
Don't ya love trivia ...

Yes I do love trivia haha. Thank you for sharing that – wonder what the two hands means? Maybe it’s a business partnership or two members of the family or something. So glad you’ve finally got some cool weather – glad it’s finally calming down! Seems as though we’ve had a looooooong hot summer this year!

Here’s to a good night’s sleep for you Waggles:

Enjoy – they have ultimate softness and trusted since 1992! :p

The spire is Langmeil Lutheran Church which also has an extensive
German heritage cemetery of German pioneers with all the headstones
having their information written in German.

That’s really beautiful – you do live in a most exquisite part of the world! God bless you! J

Thank you for this, its very interesting to me. I have German, Irish, & English heritage, in my family!! My gr8 grand parents, on my Fathers side of the family are buried in Sydney, Rookwood Cemetery, & their surname is Shingle. They came over to Australia as 1 of 11 German families to start a new life here selling Fine Porcelain, which they brought with them on board the Ship.

Bella xo :) <><<

Thank you for sharing that – we love to hear more about you! J

I was preparing to eat an apple a few days ago, and because I did not want it fridge-cold, I put it in some hot water to gently speed up the warming process. A little while later, when I thought it was ready to eat, I could see the water had made visible whatever it is they spray on apples, for whatever purpose... and it did not look pretty at all  I scrubbed and scrubbed that apple trying to remove the film that had been invisible prior to the soaking, all to no avail :( I eventually peeled the apple. Man, it has been a long time since I'd last peeled an apple! However, I may never again eat another apple without peeling it first...
Same thing with any type of produce bought at the grocery store. Even if the fruits & veggies are organic the store dresses them up and makes them look pretty like dying the oranges a uniform orange color and waxing the cucumbers. Even so, it is healthier to eat produce that is fresh and not processed and put in a can. I am sure that all of those preservatives are toxic, they accumulate in the body and after a period of years may affect your health and physical well being.

I'm sure that scrubbing the apples removed most, if not all of the pesticide residue. It's a good idea to wash all of the produce before it is eaten unfortunately, I don't do this. Who has time for all of that drama anyway. That's probably why I feel like crap a lot of days. I've been poisoned.

We had glazed strawberries on our pancakes this morning, no, didn't wash the berries first, topped with processed Redi-Whip. It may have shorten my life for a minute but it was worth the cost.

I took this one of Magenta, after she ate her peeled Apple. She was so upset about that Apple, she flew high above the World to a special cloud of her own, just to play the Harp!

Hahahahahahah I is so sneaky, she never knew I was there!!!!!!
I snuck up after her, cause I love to take candid shots, & caught her de-stressing playing Heavenly music, on her Harp!!!

Bella XO :) <><<

Well tourist, if you ask God He will bless all that poison out of your food.

I used to worry all about those chemicals – but these days I focus mainly on giving thanks to the Lord for His bounty and produce and let Him take care of the rest lol. J You enjoy your lovely apples and anything else God is giving you. xo

Amen lovely! Nice to see you here. J We just have to be sure to walk through the ones He opens and stay away from the ones He closes. How to figure that one out is a whole other conversation! :D

Revelation 3:7 “These are the words of the One who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens, no one will shut; and what He shuts, no one will open.”
