Hello Magenta, you sure do read fast. I had just finished putting the finishing touches on Part 3 and went to look at my likes. You were already there on that thread. I did find a couple of typos. One of them I didn't fix ended in the first line: "my mother was loving in SB." I guess living is loving.. Ha Ha Ha!

I did read the whole thing, and also noticed that typo :) I thought it was a good one :D

Oh drat! HUFL, I was trying to stuff some of my stew in an envelope and it just fell apart. I am afraid by the time it cools off, there won't be any left. Besides my son and I, there are two other grown men eating. My son's girlfriend will be in shortly. Oh well, I tried. It is still Friday here.

My Vegemite is unleavened hardiharhar :D
The makers of Vegemite have never officially disclosed the ingredient list to the public. One of the likely ingredients is Brewer's yeast. Vegemite was invented by a young chemist named Dr. Cyril P Callister. He was hired by the Fred Walker Company in 1922 to create a spread from Brewer's yeast. Other ingredients in Vegemite are malt extract derived from barley and yeast extract, from yeast grown on barley and wheat.

The official recipe is a secret, but Vegemite's website does reveal that the ingredients of Vegemite have not changed since its introduction in 1923. They also state Vegemite contains B vitamins and contains practically no fat.

Vegemite is a spread primarily consumed in Australia, where it's found in the pantries of approximately 80 percent of households. About 22 million jars of Vegemite are manufactured each year in Australia and 1.2 billion servings of the spread are consumed by Australians.

Fred Walker's daughter came up with the name Vegemite, which was chosen out of hundreds of entries in a national competition to name the product. Vegemite has been produced in Australia since its launch in 1923. 90 percent of the ingredients are sourced from within Australia and only 2 percent of Vegemite is exported overseas. Vegemite is certified Halal and kosher and does not contain genetically modified organisms.

Pray tell, how much Vegemite is too much? Any? A pound? an ounce? I mean it is yeast extract, it could feed the world. Or would we all have to become Aussies? Where is that Minion about too much in my head?

How much is too much? That depends on how far you live from the hospital and how fast the ambulance driver can drive.

Maybe the rest of us are just a little bit envious of what we do not have and the Aussies only want to improve the health in the world.......are we back on speaking terms? lol

P.S. I must admit that Joy is one of the nicest people on Christian Chat. It is a joy to read her comments!

Just as in life, there are good people and less than good people here at CC. We need to just ignore the latter group......but watch out for those people who eat too much Vegemite....they are the really interesting, unusual ones!!
.
That's exactly what the BDF needs; more Vegemite eaters.
Vegemite soothes the soul.

They all look scrumptious. I think I'll start off with a slice of cherry. I'm pretty sure there's an apple pie there somewhere so my next slice will be that. No ice cream, just pie.

Apple pie is one of my favourites J

And glad to see you’ve come to have a piece of the pie hahahhahah :D

We’ve been having a purpley day, just sayin’ :D
