I Have a question I met girl and immediately fell inlove with how she loves God and that God is number 1 in her life with everything.

We have this special friendship I know it's God hand in it, every time I pray or do something together with her the holy spirit leads.

I met her on the 10th of June 2017 I just saw God's heart in her immediately. On the 9th of July 2017 I asked God is she the one for me yes or no.

I prayed it every night and one night I heard a voice Proverbs 18 verse 22. I was so shocked did God said yes?

I asked God again and prayed please confirm and from a different source on facebook A friend of mine posted on fb for his girlfriend.

Then I started doubting did God spoke to me and I asked again and God showed me in the Church I was busy making notes about the preaching and as I turned my page the verse stands again there.

3 times already , on the 26th of August this was my most difficult month I started doubting God so much I said God forgive me that I doubt you I am struggling to believe you said yes.

Again that evening 00:00 am someone random send me a text the same verse, I asked the person but why and he said he just felt on his heart to tell me.

He never knew about all the other confirmations.

8 months has passed that I know about this confirmation and still nothing happened from her side and as you all understand we as people gets inpatient and doubting did God really spoke and giving me the yes answer or did I understand everything wrong?

I want to know has anybody went through this kind of promise or something God said yes and it happened on his time?

Firstly there is no biblical basis for "the one".
Secondly "still nothing happened from her side"... what does that mean? You're waiting for her to approach you?
Thirdly, I've seen countless people convinced God spoke to them about another. Convinced. It wasn't God.
Lastly, and the part you'll likely choose to accept, when God promises something that doesn't mean it's right away.

I have indeed believed God was speaking to me through certain things, such as seeing something repeatedly. None ever happened. Once we set it in our minds that something is significant we notice it more. Not that it Actually means anything, but because we make it mean something.

Does God have plans for you and her? I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. But you're better off slowing down and to keep praying. The fact that you're doubting shows you aren't convinced either.

1. Why would God not show the one? you ask then for his wise teaching.
2. meaning I asked God but nothing happens in her heart that God give her the yes answer.

Clearly you haven't seen the goodness of God that he is faithful, seems you the one that has issues.

Hey, why not? You say you're attracted to her love of God. So that's great. Are you compatible in other ways? Are you both ready to move on into a lasting relationship? If yes, it doesn't really matter if the voice you heard was God or not. (SHOCKER, I know lol). But seriously! If she is:
1. A woman
2. A Christian
3. Single
4. Not closely related to you by blood

GO FOR IT! In that case, God has already given you his OK; in his written Word the Bible. That doesn't mean it will 100% "work out" for you in the way you would like, but it will work for your ultimate good, and the ultimate good of this young lady if you're both Christians. Good luck, brother :)

Hi Ruhan, I've got a similar situation but a different approach that might help you.

Why exactly are you not taking action to pursue this person, if God is involved? Look at Joshua 1, where the Israelites are about to enter the promised land...

Have I not told you? Be strong and have strength of heart!
Do not be afraid or lose faith. For the Lord your God is with you anywhere you go.
1:9

This is basically right when they are going into the promised land. He essentially doesn't give a direct instruction, merely "Go claim what I have given you."

So IMO you should be doing something to further this mission instead of waiting around for God to tell you something specific.
